Country star Lainey Wilson recently surprised fans by releasing a festive duet with none other than Bing Crosby titled “Let It Snow.”
The collaboration quietly showed up on major streaming platforms without fanfare—but the pairing has already delighted listeners across genres, bridging vintage nostalgia and modern country charm.
Wilson’s vocals mesh seamlessly with Crosby’s classic baritone, creating a warm musical moment that feels both timeless and fresh.
For Wilson, whose rise in country music has been marked by bold originals and charismatic authenticity, this holiday release shows her versatility and willingness to experiment with different musical moods.
Wilson Has Previously Released a Christmas Song
Lainey Wilson’s holiday music cred isn’t new — she previously put out a charming cover of “Christmas Cookies,” originally a George Strait classic.
Released in 2021, Wilson’s version brings her own spirited flair to the festive tune, making it a seasonal favorite for country music fans.
She even performed “Christmas Cookies” during a CMA “Country Christmas” special, donning festive attire and spreading holiday cheer on stage.
The track has since become a go-to addition on holiday playlists, especially among country fans looking for fresh takes on seasonal standards.
What’s New With Wilson?
In addition to a new holiday song, Wilson has been staying incredibly busy!
She is slated to host the 59th Annual CMA Awards this upcoming Nov. 19, according to Rolling Stone.
“I grew up watching the CMA Awards like it was the Super Bowl, so to be hosting for a second year is a true honor,” she said regarding the hosting gig.
The 33-year-old added, “I’m humbled that CMA has trusted me with this role, and I can’t wait to love on this genre that has given me so much.”
If that isn’t enough, she also recently got engaged to Devlin “Duck” Hodges in February of this year.
In a heartwarming recent interview with Southern Living, she explained the adorable lie she told Hodges on their first date.
She told him that people called her “Goose,” a white lie she invented to match his famous nickname.
“He fell for it,” she jokingly told the outlet.
She explained how Hodges came to get the nickname of “Duck.”
“He had a really good season that year. And so the whole team started saying, ‘It’s Duck season; it’s Duck season!’ So that’s how he got Duck,” she told the outlet.
The “Somewhere Over Laredo” singer added can’t wait for the upcoming nuptials.
However, she stated she still doesn’t have a dress for the big day.
“I’m excited to just step outside of the box and see what happens,” Wilson said on the upcoming event.
