Jennifer Grey Reveals How Bad Bunny Inspired Her

Grey competed on “Dancing with the Stars” Season 11 alongside professional dancer Derek Hough. The pair won the show, and Grey impressed fans with her presence and movement. On Monday, February 9, a day after the Super Bowl, the actress posted several photos on Instagram of Bad Bunny, including one of herself posing with the musician and another of herself with her new pet dog. There is also a picture of the sign from the end of Bad Bunny’s show, promoting love over hate.

In the caption, Grey shared her thoughts on Bad Bunny and his Super Bowl performance, and how it had inspired her. “I first laid (eyes) on @badbunnypr in 2022. Suffice it to say…I was shooketh,” she began her message. “Then 10 days ago, this little guy showed up and has stolen my heart. Please meet Benito, a name inspired by the miraculous and soulful #BenitoBowl, a powerful exaltation of love unity and joy #loveismorepowerfulthanhate.” Grey is revealing that she named her new pet Benito after Bad Bunny.

Fans reacted to Grey’s post. “Bad Bunny put on a tremendous show at the Super Bowl yesterday,” a fan shared. “Omgosh – BENITO!!!!! (cannot wait to meet this little angel),” another fan wrote.

The Super Bowl was held at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, and fans saw the Seattle Seahawks defeat the New England Patriots, a phenomenal moment for NFL fans. Bad Bunny’s Halftime Show performance was also a highlight. It was the “first Spanish-language Latin solo artist to headline the Super Bowl halftime show,” NBC News reports. He also included surprise appearances from Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin.

“I just want people to have fun. It’s going to be a huge party,” the musician said in a news conference on Tuesday, February 3, NBC News reports. “They don’t even have to learn Spanish. It is better if they learn to dance.”
