“Dancing with the Stars” cast members joined Good Morning America on Tuesday, Feb. 10, to finally reveal the announcement they’ve been teasing for several days.
After a group of pros performed a special number on the set of “GMA,” former dancing celebrity Joey Graziadei joined them and announced the big surprise. “We are going to have the first-ever ‘Dancing with the Stars’ convention,” he shared.
‘DWTS’ Convention Will be an ‘Immersive’ Fan Experience
Graziadei explained that the convention will be held from July 31 to August 2 at the Acrisure Arena in Palm Springs, California.
Season 34 winner Witney Carson then chimed in, detailing how the convention will be an “immersive” experience for fans with the pro and celebrity dancers. Ezra Sosa emphasized Carson’s comment, saying that it will be a “huge fan experience” and that there will be many TikTok videos created along the way and during the actual convention.

TICKETS: Tickets will be available starting Saturday, February 14 at 10am PST at ticketmaster.com, the official ticketing provider of Acrisure Arena.
Designed to celebrate the iconic television series and its passionate fan base, Dancing with the Stars Con will offer two live dance performances featured on the ballroom floor, interactive live panels with your DWTS favorites, interactive photo experiences, exhibits, Q&A sessions, exclusive merchandise and unique fan experiences inspired by the hit show that’s just celebrated 20 years on air!”
Fans Excitedly React to 2026 ‘DWTS’ Convention Announcement
After the official announcement, fans of the show expressed their excitement on Instagram, saying they can hardly wait for the new “DWTS” experience.
“Putting my PTO request in now 💃🏼🪩✨,” wrote one fan.
“THIS IS AMAZING I CANT WAIT!!!!” added another.
“I need tickets to this asap!” said a third.
In the meantime, while “DWTS” preps for their new endeavor, fans can still purchase tickets for “Dancing with the Stars” LIVE. The official website for the 2026 tour shared that there will be plenty of fan-favorite celebrity guests, including Alix Earle, Dylan Efron, Robert Irwin, Jordan Chiles, Andy Richter and more.
