Along with being a movie star, Anne Hathaway is a formidable figure when it comes to fashion. She proved that once again while making an appearance at the New York City premiere of her film “Mother Mary” on Monday, April 13.
Wearing a clear dress and a decent fortune worth of jewelry, the actress made a dazzling entrance to the event.
Anne Slayed the ‘Dramatic’ (and Pricey!) Look
GettyWhen Hathaway showed up to the NYC “Mother Mary” premiere, she opted for a “dramatic” look that featured “a Lever Couture gown, which was crafted from shiny mesh ribbons,” according to InStyle. Making the piece even more eye-catching, the star’s “sleeveless high-low frock featured an asymmetrical skirt” with ruffles that surrounded the bottom section of the unique item.
GettyHathaway also wore silver Christian Louboutin high-heels, while her “long brown hair cascaded past her waist,” and “her makeup consisted of rosy blush and a muted pink lip,” per InStyle.
GettyOf course, we can’t fail to mention her jewelry, which definitely brought the entire ensemble (that was already stellar) up a notch.
The actress’ accessories featured a “Bulgari jewelry set in 18kt white gold,” InStyle explains. “Her diamond and emerald earrings and rings—from the brand’s signature Serpenti line—are worth over $100,000 combined.”
FKA Twigs & Michaela Coel Also Brought Chic Looks to the Event
GettyWhile “Anne Hathaway [led] the high fashion brigade at the ‘Mother Mary’” premiere, according to WWD, she wasn’t the only one to bring a fabulously chic ensemble to the event.
Indeed, WWD notes that co-stars “Michaela Coel and FKA Twigs embraced costume-y apparel that channeled the high drama and fantasy of the new pop drama picture.”
GettyWhen Coel showed up on the red (or rather, moody black) carpet, she looked incredible in a style from Givenchy’s fall 2026 collection, which was recently seen at Paris Fashion Week in March.
WWD points out that “[t]he look was a contrast in fabrics and tones, with a sleeveless cream and blush blouse with a defined waist and fabric draping paired with black wide-leg trousers.”
GettyAs for FKA Twigs, she turned up in a piece from Ashi Studio’s spring 2026 couture show, which fashion fans may have spotted in the brand’s Paris Couture Week show in January.
“The look harkened back to 18th- and 19th-century dress, with a corseted bodice and long sleeves including ornate embroidery,” per WWD. “A wispy, mossy skirt flowed from beneath the bodice framing the singer’s platform ankle boots by Marc Jacobs.”
