Jennifer Tilly brought the drama to the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” season 15 reunion in an extravagant look.
The star wore a custom Balmain gown with an unusual feature, in her customary flamboyant style.
Jennifer Tilly Stuns In “30 Pound” Beaded Gown
The “Chucky” star rocked the reunion in a custom Balmain gown that featured an unusual motif – a recreation of her own face!
“I’m wearing a beautiful Balmain dress made specifically for me, and it has my face on the front of it in beads – in millions and millions of beads,” she told Bravo.
Tilly also revealed the dress weighed “about 30 pounds.”
“I can’t really sit in it, but it looks good standing up,” she revealed. “The vibe is going to be incredibly uncomfortable!”
Tilly topped off the glamorous look with a Bulgari ring and bracelet and shoes by Giuseppe Zanotti.
Her striking, vintage-inspired hair and makeup were equally stunning.
“Rob [Rumsey] did my makeup to look like the front of the dress, so I match, and I’m going with a big ’70s hairdo,” she shared.
The History of Jennifer Tilly’s Balmain Dress
GettyThe gown was first seen on the Balmain Spring/Summer 2025 runway. The original version featured the side profile of reality star Kylie Jenner.
Tilly wasn’t the first star to receive a custom version of the dress – Jenner also received one in 2024, per PEOPLE.
Jenner received the gown from Balmain’s creative director Olivier Rousteing. Her version of the hourglass gown featured a sculpted strapless neckline.
Tilly Approached “RHOBH” Wardrobe Like A “Costume”
GettyTilly told Harper’s Bazaar that she “approached dressing forย ‘Housewives’ย as sort of like [a] costume.”
“There was one where I wore a red-and-white striped caftan with red-and-white striped glasses and a red-and-white striped hat,” she recalled. “I just thought the excess is what makes it fun.”
“I know for a lot of the scenes that the housewives don’t consider important, they wear jeans and sneakers. But how much more fun is it if you’re wearing something that’s blowing in the wind with gold sunglasses and high heels, pumping gas? It’s much more of an exciting visual,” she said.
And for those interested in acquiring the star’s unique style, she also revealed her shopping philosophy.
“I found the things that I spend a little more money on than Iโm comfortable with, those are the things that Iโm really happy with in the long run. I love crazy and I love craziness,” she confessed.
“I adore Alessandro Michele, but at the same time I love The Row. You can buy the simple black dress and pick it out of the closet ten years later and put it on. Itโs so easy, chic, and elegant.”
