The celebrity edition of “Worst Cooks in America” season 30 is bringing us some of your favorite reality TV stars. This new season premieres on Sunday, January 4, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
New episodes will air on Food Network. They will then be available to stream the next day on HBO Max, Discovery+, Hulu, and Disney+.
How Does ‘Worst Cooks in America’ Work?
After the death of Anne Burrell in 2025, this new season will be co-hosted by fan-favorite chef Jeff Mauro and restaurateur Tiffany Derry. The two will lead rival teams through an intense, entertainment-themed boot camp designed to turn bad cooks into confident cooks.
When all is said and done, one chef-to-be will be named the winner, earning $25,000 for the charity of their choice, in addition to bragging rights for their mentor.
For this “Worst Cooks in America” season 30 premiere, the contestants face a baseline challenge. This will allow Jeff and Tiffany to see how bad (or possibly good) their cooking skills really are. The challenge has them creating red-carpet-worthy dishes.
The contestants will then move on to the main dish challenge, as the chefs teach their teams how to make piri piri chicken. The least successful contestants will face off in a blind elimination cook-off, with only one of them surviving to cook another day.
