Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke are giving fans another glimpse at their surprisingly close relationship.
The “Summer House” stars, who called off their engagement in 2023, were recently spotted together again, with Hubbard sharing a playful photo of herself and Radke from a hotel room.
Hubbard posted the image to her Instagram Stories, joking about their brief stopover before an early flight.
“Kinda chic to get a hotel room for 3 hours and go back to LAX for a 6am flight 😂,” she captioned the photo.
The Former Couple Have Come a Long Way
The unexpected snapshot comes after the former couple made major strides toward rebuilding their friendship during “Summer House” Season 10.
Hubbard and Radke ended their engagement in September 2023, just two months before they had planned to walk down the aisle.
Despite their difficult split, the pair have increasingly made it clear that they are now in a much better place.
Hubbard appeared on Radke’s podcast, “More Life with Carl Radke,” in June, where the two discussed their evolving dynamic. Radke said he had been laughing at Hubbard’s jokes while they were living together during Season 10 and explained that the renewed connection brought him happiness.
“It brought a lot of joy to me because that’s where I want to get back to. This friendliness and just light and easy,” he said.
“Totally. And I feel like we’re kind of back. We’re so back,” Hubbard responded. “But at the same time, I think we had to go on this journey that we did.”
Radke later shared a photo of the two together in his podcast studio and echoed Hubbard’s sentiment.
“We’re SO back,” he wrote.
Hubbard replied, “We’re soooooooooo back.”
Both Have Squashed the Idea of Getting Back Together
However, both reality stars have previously pushed back on the idea that their renewed closeness means they are getting back together romantically.
During a May appearance on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” Radke was asked about the possibility of rekindling their romance, according to Bravos’s The Daily Dish.
“I think that ship has sailed,” he said.
Radke said he believed the former couple could still have a meaningful friendship, though.
“I do believe we have a strong bond as friends, and I think there is a future of a strong friendship, and I’m hoping for that,” he said. “But I don’t think she wants to go back there, and neither do I.”
Hubbard expressed a similar view during an appearance on the “Untraditionally Lala” podcast. She acknowledged that their increased friendliness had fueled speculation about their relationship but said she believed friendship was the most likely destination.
“I think that we could get back to a place of friendship, but that’s probably where it ends,” she said. “I think we’re in like a really friendly place.”
She also questioned whether their current dynamic even needed a label, noting that they do not regularly call or speak to each other.
“We love labels and statuses, and we like to categorize our relationships. I think we should be okay with where we’re at, me and Carl,” Hubbard said.
For now, their latest hotel-room snapshot is another sign that the former fiancés have found a more comfortable place in each other’s lives—even if neither is calling it a romantic reunion.
