For the 16th consecutive year, Hallmark Channel will celebrate the holiday season with its hugely popular Countdown to Christmas programming lineup, featuring round-the-clock holiday fare and a slate of all-new, original movies and shows. Hallmark unveiled its highly anticipated lineup on September 17, 2025 — exactly one month before on-air festivities kick off on October 17.
It’s worth noting that the new schedule is noticeably different from recent years. Nearly 80 hours of new primetime content will premiere on Hallmark Channel between October 17 and December 21. There may be fewer movies than fans are used to, but that’s only because, for the first time, Hallmark Channel will also air a whole slate of original holiday-themed series!
Each week of Countdown to Christmas, episodes of the new shows will air most Fridays and Mondays, while new movies will typically premiere on Saturday and Sunday nights. Below, EntertainmentNow has outlined the full schedule of Countdown to Christmas premieres by month, highlighting the fan-favorite stars who appear in them. Each new movie and show will be available to stream on Hallmark+ the day after it premieres on Hallmark Channel.

What About Hallmark Mystery?
In a big change this year, there won’t be any premieres on Hallmark Mystery, which has often featured its own new movie releases during the holiday season.
Rather, Hallmark Media says that on Hallmark Mystery, it will host “merry-thons” every Sunday beginning on October 19, with themed collections of holiday classics — like “A Cozy Country Christmas,” “Thank You for Your Service,” “The Magic of Christmas,” and “A Little Christmas Faith.”
Also, on Tuesday nights starting on October 21, Hallmark Mystery will dedicate Christmas movie blocks featuring fan-favorite stars, including Paul Campbell, Victor Webster, and Jessy Schram.

No Will Kemp ? 🫤
So sad there are no movies from the mystery channel!! In the past that is where the best movies originated!!! One more downward movement for the Hallmark franchise. Additionally, I don’t understand why the movies have to be shown on Hallmark+ a day later. I can sort of understand Hallmark showing them without a date delay. BUT, there is not a legitimate reason that they couldn’t or shouldn’t be show at the same date and time. People paying for + now appear to being punished by having to wait a day to see the new items.
My cable provider doesn’t have Hallmark +, I already tried to get Hallmark + . It just doesn’t seem fair! I watch Hallmark (2 channels) almost 24/7 because at 81 yrs old I only sleep 1 to 2 hrs. at a time (some in the daytime and some at night ).
Where’s Victor Webster?????
