A popular trend across social media has given some Hallmark stars an opportunity to reflect on some big memories. After Hallmark posted on Instagram in honor of the current 2016 throwback trend, stars like Lacey Chabert and Kristoffer Polaha gave fans a thrill with their comments.

According to USA Today, as 2026 kicks into gear, social media users are digging into their personal archives to find images from 2016. It seems the trend embraces the idea that “2026 is the new 2016,” and the posts have generated a lot of smiles.
On January 25, a post on the Hallmark+ Instagram page highlighted photos from several of the network’s 2016 projects.
In that year, Chabert starred in “A Wish for Christmas,” and Andrew Walker starred in “Date With Love.”
Rachael Leigh Cook headlined “Autumn in the Vineyard,” and Polaha took the lead in “Dater’s Handbook,” which also starred Meghan Markle. Other projects highlighted in the Instagram post included Nikki DeLoach in “A Dream of Christmas” and Ashley Williams in “Love on a Limb.”
Chabert was quick to comment on the Hallmark+ post. She shared a fun tidbit that most fans would have not otherwise realized. “I was pregnant while filming this movie! Such good memories.”
The star of Hallmark movies such as “Lost in Paradise” and “She’s Making a List” has one daughter, Julia, with her husband, David Nehdar.
One fan noted that they just watched “A Wish for Christmas” with their husband over her Christmas break. She gushed, “You looked beautiful!”
Polaha shared the photo from the Hallmark+ Instagram post to his own Instagram Stories. He wrote, “This year marks 10 years that I’ve been acting on the @hallmarkchannel. All starting with this one,” he wrote.
He also commented on the original post. Polaha again noted that the movie marked his 10-year anniversary with Hallmark. He added, “Happy anniversary, baby!”
One fan responded to Polaha, “Congratulations. Here’s to 10 more???”
Hallmark Fans Adored the Throwback Photos
The Hallmark+ 2016 throwbacks had fans in their feels.
One person commented, “I remember every one of these and love them all!”
Another gushed that two of their Hallmark favorites, Walker and DeLoach, were featured in the post.
Someone else simply wrote, “Oh Andrew.”
For another Hallmark fan, the post served as a teaser for a handful of movies they had missed when they first aired. She wrote, “Why have none of these come on my radar?! They must be buried deep on the Hallmark+ app. Must find!”
That Hallmark fans, and others like her, may be in luck. It appears that most, if not all, of the movies highlighted in the Instagram trend post starring Chabert, Polaha, and the others are available on Hallmark+.
