Where to Watch Hallmark’s ‘Love on the Amazon’ Premiere

Hallmark fans have plenty to look forward to this January with the return of the network’s “Winter Escape” event, featuring a selection of sun-soaked movies filled with plenty of romance and adventure, offering fans a welcome break from the chilly winter weather.

The lineup kicked off with the premiere of “Lost in Paradise” on Saturday, January 3, 2026, followed by “A Melbourne Match” on Saturday, January 10, 2026, and continues with the highly anticipated “Love on the Amazon.”

The film follows Claire, who travels to Brazil and hires Danny, a riverboat captain, to help her deliver an important message for her sister Amelia, a marine biologist studying pink dolphins on the Amazon River.

Meet the Cast: Jaicy Elliot as Claire

According to her Hallmark bio, “Elliot got her start by auditioning for the theater company Upstage at 15 years old. From there, she booked her first supporting role as Hal in ‘The Lady Killers.'”

She also starred as intern Taryn Helm on “Grey’s Anatomy,” and was in the Primetime Emmy nominated digital short series “Grey’s Anatomy: B-Team.” Elliot was also featured on the cover of Entertainment Weekly with her fellow intern castmates from the long-running medical drama.

According to his Hallmark bio, “the Venezuelan-born actor and singer splits his time between Los Angeles, New York, Miami and Atlanta where he shoots his current show, the CW reboot of ‘DYNASTY.’ Fuente is also known for his roles in FOX’s ‘Empire’ and ABC’s ‘When We Rise.'”

In 2009, the actor moved to Florida where he began his career in Nickelodeon Latin America in the interntional hit show “Grachi.” His break into the Enligsh-speaking market industry came with “Empire,” followed by “When We Rise.” Fuente also guest-starred in “American Horror Story: Cult.”
