‘Kentucky Roses’ Star Gushes Over ‘Sister’ Jamie Lynn Sigler in Emotional Tribute

Hallmark fans may have recently seen Odette Annable in “Kentucky Roses,” as florist Sadie Moore, who finds a special connection (after some shenanigans and a touch of drama, of course) with a man named Ash Taylor, who was played by Andrew Walker.

In real life, Annable shares a special relationship with fellow actress and good friend Jamie Lynn Sigler. In fact, the two are so close, that Annable has just shared an emotional tribute to her “sister” that is truly touching.

Jamie is ‘One of the Most Important People’ in Odette’s Life

“Listen up here. This post is dedicated to my sister @jamielynnsigler and when I say sister, I truly feel as if we were meant do this second chapter of life together. She is one of the most important people in my life,” Annable wrote in the caption of an Instagram post she shared on Saturday, May 9.

“She has taught me how to live. To live fully. To live without regret,” Annable continued in the message included in her post, along with photos of the two together as well as their friends and family members. “She taught me that everything you go through- every heartbreak, failure, detour, beautiful mess- serves a purpose. That sometimes the thing that breaks you open is also the thing that brings you home to yourself. She taught me how when you shift your perspective, your life will become whole.”

“She’s joy and class and wicked smart and funny as [expletive]. She’s a dream girl,” Annable continued.

Annable then mentioned Sigler’s new book, “And So It Is… A Memoir of Acceptance and Hope,” which touches on topics such as her career, battle with multiple sclerosis and former marriage.

“[S]omehow she managed to put all of that wisdom into a book that feels like a conversation with someone who actually understands what it means to be human,” Annable wrote. “Do yourselves a favor and buy the book. Then re-read it forever when you need to feel less alone, more hopeful, or more alive! We celebrated her last night and it was the best. I love you Jamie. AND SO IT [expletive] IS!!!”

Odette and Jamie Share a Special Bond

Annable and Sigler have previously opened up about the roles they play in each other’s lives, which came about after both actresses moved to Austin, Texas, and formed an incredible and important bond.

“We had a crash-blending of our families and created this beautiful, messy, amazing village right away,” Sigler — who shares sons Beau and Jack with her husband Cutter Dykstra — told Parents in August 2021 (via People).

“It’s part of our culture,” Annable — the mom of daughter Charlie Mae, whom she shared with husband Dave Annable — added while referring to the fact that both women have a Cuban background. “I grew up surrounded by cousins and aunts, and I love having people around. I’m just so grateful Jamie moved here, because now we get to do life together. … [Y]our partner is there for some things, your mom friends are there for basically everything else.”

Sigler added, “I honestly don’t know where I’d be without my mom friends. Odie in particular. She’s somebody who I can be super honest with, and she’ll always tell me if I’m being completely ridiculous.”

“Jamie was the first mom who never put a façade on parenthood with me,” Annable explained. “I knew if I were ever to have a hard time, it was okay, because Jamie paved that way for me. She made me feel like it was okay to make mistakes. It was okay to struggle with breastfeeding. It was okay to give formula. She’d always tell me, ‘Parenting is messy, but you find beauty in that mess.'”

Sigler noted, “We never hide our struggles from each other, and whenever I’m around Odie, I feel completely safe and never judged. She’s seen it all.”

Fortunately for the pair, their families have also formed bonds. Annable pointed out the fact that the ladies’ husbands “connected in the same way we did,” while the children all “love one another like siblings.”

Annable also explained, “It’s the kind of friendship that I’ve always dreamed of having. It’s as if we were built to support each other.”
