Hallmark star Will Kemp got pulses racing with a recent social media post. The star of the 2024 movie “My Sweet Austrian Holiday” not only shared a new look that fans loved, but he also teased everybody about new projects he has in the works.
Will Kemp Surprised Fans With a Clean-Shaven, Fresh Look
On May 3, Kemp posted a photo on his Instagram page that had Hallmark fans doing a double-take. The actor usually has a beard and mustache. At a minimum, the “Paging Mr. Darcy” star typically sports some facial scruff.
However, in his new Instagram post, Kemp revealed a clean-shaven look. In the caption, he teased, “Cleaning up my act for the next 🎬.”
Kemp also teased that he has “several exciting projects coming up” and he cannot wait to share more with fans.
Hallmark fans went wild over the new look Kemp revealed, and so did some of his colleagues.
“Hannah Swensen Mysteries” star Victor Webster had the top comment on the Instagram post, which read, “Stud.” Kemp teasingly replied, “Right back attcha!”
A fan agreed with Kemp’s response, writing, “I think it takes one to know one, right Victor and Will?”
“A Royal Setting” and “The Way Home” star Dan Jeannotte showed his appreciation for the new look by “liking” Kemp’s post. Fellow Hallmark stars Niall Matter, Brooke D’Orsay, Kristoffer Polaha, Evan Roderick, and Janel Parrish were among those who did the same.
While Kemp couldn’t give fans any specifics about the projects he’s working on, several fans specifically commented that they hope he’s got something brewing with Hallmark. Kemp liked several of those comments.
One fan wrote, “Excited to see you in another project!! I hope a Hallmark movie is in the mix.”
Another fan added, “I can’t wait to see what [you’re] filming next!! Maybe a new movie with Lacey Chabert!!”
Kemp and Chabert starred together in Hallmark’s 2019 movie titled “Love, Romance, & Chocolate.” Kemp liked both of those fan comments.
The Fan Favorite Hallmark Actor Is Now on Set Somewhere Mysterious
To stir up even more buzz among fans, Kemp returned to Instagram on May 6 to reveal he was on a film set. He wrote, “Happy place,” and added a hashtag that read “Every Day At Work Is A Good Day.”
The chair in the photo that Kemp shared had simply “CAST” on it, and filming equipment could be seen in the background. They were filming outdoors, but the background was blurred and didn’t reveal any juicy details about exactly what he’s filming.
One fan loved the post and wrote, “Can’t wait! Thanks for the teasers! Let the FUN shine in! You always do.”
A comment from a Kemp fan page read, “Beyond excited! So happy you are back to where you belong on set.”
Someone else gushed, “Just so excited for you!!!! Can’t wait to see [what] this project is!!!!”
Kemp’s IMDb page lists two projects he’s tied to that are currently in pre-production. Whether one of those is what he is now filming is unclear.
One project is a television series titled “True Sherlock.” According to Televisual, filming was slated to begin in January.
The series is based on the book “The Unexpurgated Adventures of Sherlock Holmes” by Nicholas Sercombe, and Kemp plays Moriarty.
The other project is titled “Love in Ireland.” “Seeking Persephone” author Sarah M. Eden wrote the script for the movie, and a couple of months ago, she teased a bit about the movie.
John Lyde is directing the movie, and in March, he was in Ireland scouting filming locations. Unlike the Amazon Prime series “Seeking Persephone,” which also starred Kemp and was adapted from one of Eden’s books, “Love in Ireland” is an entirely new screenplay.
Whatever it is that Kemp is working on, Hallmark fans are eager to learn more.
