Tyler Hynes is sharing a heartfelt message for his fans.
On his 40th birthday, the Hallmark favorite expressed how meaningful it has been for him to see both past and present support from his dedicated fanbase, affectionately known as the “Hynies.” The actor shared that he feels “beyond fortunate” to be in their company.
Hynes also acknowledged that although he has been quieter on social media recently, he has still been paying attention to all the messages and love from fans. He ended his message with a note of appreciation, thanking his fans for their continued kindness and adding that they “make today what it is.”
Hynes Celebrates His 40th Birthday with His Mom
“Unexpectedly this lovely piece of well thought out machinery has already sparked memories I wouldn’t otherwise have,” Hynes wrote in the caption of his May 6 post, referring to an electric car he was able to drive.
He continued, “On this day, at this time, in this circumstance, there is no where else I’d rather be.”
“Seeing your posts past and present, I feel beyond fortunate to be in the company of you all. I know I’ve been quiet lately, more to come on that, but I’ve seen and felt them and deeply appreciate you. Thank you,” Hynes concluded. “You make today what it is. Not the date.”
In the reel, Hynes included clips driving the electric car with his mom for his birthday. The pair went to a skate park, so Hynes could relive his teenage years.
“Like when I was a kid,” Hynes pointed out as he carried his skateboard.
Hynes’ mom agreed, reminiscing along with her son on such a major birthday milestone. “That’s exactly what I was just thinking sitting here,” she said. The reel then cut to a throwback video of Hynes as a child holding a skateboard.
“It’s right back to your teenage days when I used to sit and watch you skate and video you,” Hynes’ mom said.
In a separate Instagram Story from the same day, Hynes posted a video scrolling through the various birthday posts his fans shared. He wrote in the caption over the video, “Your creativity and loveliness never ceases to catch me off guard and buckle me.”
He continued in the caption, “I spend these days quietly and yet you somehow always bring the noise. And I can’t help but listen.”
He signed off with, “#hynies4life.”
Hynes Was Inspired by His Fans During New Movie
“We have shared this song and sentiment for years…all building to this. I’ve quietly lived with it, waiting for this day to come. It’s here,” Hynes wrote in the caption of his April 24 Instagram post ahead of the premiere of “I’ll Be Seeing You,” a new Hallmark Channel film he starred in alongside Stacey Farber. He also produced the film.
Hynes went on to write how the “memories and stories” that his fans shared with him “very much shaped this as an experience.”
“From its conceit to its themes, down to it’s carefully crafted colour and it’s small but memorable moments, it’s all thoughtfully sculpted to create a feeling. You never left my mind in making these decisions,” Hynes said. “From the bottom of my heart, I sincerely hope you enjoy your movie. It’s another stop on this long journey, where you take it from here, I can’t wait to see.”
