‘When Calls the Heart’ Season 13 Episode 6 Spoilers: A Familiar Face Is Coming Back to Hope Valley

“When Calls the Heart” season 13 continues next week, but fans will notice a change in the schedule. Episode 6 will air on Saturday instead of its usual Sunday slot.

The episode, titled “Moment of Truth,” airs Saturday, February 7, on Hallmark Channel, due to the Super Bowl taking place during its regular date and time.

The shift comes as Hope Valley prepares for a major storyline involving new technology and the return of a familiar character.

‘When Calls the Heart’ Episode 6 Schedule Change and Synopsis

Hallmark’s official synopsis previews what’s ahead: “A familiar face returns and brings a fun, new piece of technology with her…the polygraph.”

That familiar face is expected to be Melissa Gilbert, who returns as Georgie McGill. Georgie first appeared during season 12, and Hallmark previously confirmed she would be back during season 13.

The network also teased a moment involving Nathan Grant, sharing,

“Nathan freezes when a playful line of questioning catches him off guard.”

‘When Calls the Heart’ Season 13 Episode 5 Recap

Episode 5, titled “Growing Pains,” moved the wildfire investigation forward while continuing several personal storylines around town.

Lee Coulter presented plans to rebuild Benson Hills and later learned Coulter Construction won the contract. While balancing multiple responsibilities, Lee pushed himself too hard and suffered an anxiety attack. Faith Carter urged him to slow down. Despite the setback, Lee joined Gwen, Toby, Cooper, and other residents to plant trees, turning recovery into a community effort.

Nathan Grant, Bill Avery, and Oliver Garrett continued investigating the fire and uncovered burned cement and unusual rock fragments. Their search raised more questions after Henry Gowen found similar materials in his son Christopher’s trunk, suggesting Christopher may be connected to what started the blaze.

Elsewhere in WCTH Season 13 Episode 5

Elsewhere in Hope Valley, Toby and Cooper quietly began replanting trees in the burned forest. Elizabeth Thornton turned their idea into a school project, bringing the entire class together to help restore the area.

Edie Martell and Lucas Bouchard grew closer while moving furniture into her new apartment, and they admitted they enjoy spending time together.

Nathan also struggled with his daughter, Allie, as she grew up and with her friendship with Oliver, which led to tense moments before he tried to repair their relationship.

Christopher announced he had been promoted and revived wedding plans, while Henry celebrated, unaware of what he would soon discover.

Little Jack also announced he wants to be called LJ, signaling a change even among Hope Valley’s youngest residents.

‘When Calls the Heart’ Episode 6 Sets Up a New Mystery

With Gilber (possibly) returning as Georgie McGill and introducing a polygraph, Episode 6 adds a new layer to the wildfire investigation. The technology arrives as tensions rise and unanswered questions remain, positioning “Moment of Truth” as an important episode after the halfway mark of season 13.

Gilbert confirmed on Instagram on August 12 that she will return as Georgie McGill in “When Calls the Heart” season 13. Along with announcing her comeback, Gilbert also hinted at which episode fans can expect to see her make her appearance

“Heading back to #hopevalley next week,” she wrote in the caption alongside a photo of her TV script. “Going to play with my pals @jackwagnerofficial @erinkrakow @ben_rosenbaum @phutton @kavansmith @kevin_mcgarry_w @jaedalilymiller @hylandgoodrich @vivleacock and all…My word this cast is huge! And wonderful! So is the crew! Can’t wait!! @wcth_tv @michaellandonjr1 @hallmarkchannel.”

“When Calls the Heart” season 13 Episode 6 airs Saturday, February 7.
