Episode 6 of “When Calls the Heart” season 13 is titled “Moment of Truth.” WCTH fans will want to be aware that the show will not air on Sunday night, as is standard with the Hallmark series. Rather, due to the Super Bowl airing on February 8, Hallmark is airing the new episode of “When Calls the Heart” a day early.
The next new episode, “Moment of Truth,” airs on Saturday, February 7, at 10 p.m. Eastern/9 p.m. Central. It will also be available on the network’s streaming platform, Hallmark+, beginning on February 8.
Episode 6 of ‘When Calls the Heart’ Brings New Technology & a Familiar Face to Hope Valley
Hallmark teases that “A familiar face returns” to Hope Valley, and she brings a polygraph with her. The investigation into the fire continues, with plenty of questions arising that have been tough to answer.
Ahead of episode 6 of “When Calls the Heart” on Saturday, February 7, Hallmark fans can check out the premiere of the new movie, “The Way to You.”
The movie stars Aaron O’Connell and Kim Matula as Conrad and Emma, who both experience missed connections during a blackout on a New York City subway.
“When Calls the Heart” fans who rely on a DVR to record new episodes of the show should be in good shape, as the schedule change should have been picked up by the device. Those who usually watch the show live, however, will want to make sure they are prepared for the one-week schedule change.
In a new preview shared on the “When Calls the Heart” Instagram page, one fan noted their disappointment in the scheduling. “[It] would have been nice to [put] it on at 8pm and the new movie at 10pm since the new movie always repeats on Tuesday night.”
The schedule change is a significant one for “When Calls the Heart” fans, given that Hallmark is shifting both the day of the week and the time that the episode will air for this one week. Usually, “When Calls the Heart” airs on Sunday nights at 8 p.m. Eastern, 7 p.m. Central.
Another Instagram user agreed that they were somewhat unhappy with the time shift. “Too late! Why not 8? Is there any other way to watch this season besides plus?”
Hallmark Fans Are Eager to See More of Edie and Lucas
“Moment of Truth” will include fun scenes with Elizabeth and Nathan, and a new mountie shows up in town to help. It is also expected that Melissa Gilbert’s character, Georgie McGill, will show up in Hope Valley during this upcoming episode.
An additional “When Calls the Heart” sneak peek shared via Instagram teased new developments with Edie and Lucas. Just as Edie and Lucas are growing closer to one another, her ex-fiancé pops up in Hope Valley.
One fan commented, “Wait! What? Wow! I’m looking forward to seeing how this plays out. I’m glad these two are getting more exposure in the episodes. I’m smiling!”
Another fan gushed, “Is it Saturday yet? Super excited for Edie and Lucas scenes! Hopefully there won’t be any misunderstanding and confusion! Love them!!!!”
I feel now we are being “forced” to watch the super bowl.
So those of us who were not given advance notice are just out of luck. Was something announced last week during the last episode? It should have aired Sunday night anyway.
