HGTV fans love “The Property Brothers” stars, Drew and Jonathan Scott. They work hard and make home renovation projects seem effortless. But at the end of the day, they’re still brothers who enjoy teasing one another.
In a new video, Jonathan Scott goes on an epic adventure of a lifetime at the Clippers’ arena in Los Angeles. Drew felt tremendously jealous when he realized his brother went without him.
Jonathan Scott Tours the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles
HGTV stars Drew and Jonathan Scott are huge basketball fans. Naturally, Jonathan leapt at the chance to have a private tour of the Intuit Dome, where the Los Angeles Clippers play.
The Intuit Dome also uses smart technology to power up and run the stadium, using the same tech that modern smart homes use.
“[Jonathan] compares how facial recognition entry systems, intelligent lighting, automation, personalized experiences, and personal sound systems in the Intuit Dome operates like the world’s biggest smart home,” the YouTube description reads.
“There’s just one problem: the arena already recognizes Drew with facial recognition… and completely mistakes Jonathan for him. 😂😂 Watch as Jonathan explores how smart home technology is scaling up in ways homeowners may not even realize yet, and what the future of connected living could look like,” the post concludes.
Drew Scott would have loved to accompany his brother, but was filming another project at the time. As Jonathan steps into the arena, he’s overwhelmed with excitement. Digital billboards in the space read, “Welcome, Jonathan Scott!” and “Sorry you’re not here, Drew!”
“Drew is gonna be so upset. Oh my gosh, that is amazing. Obviously Drew was MVP of every game in high school. And I was good, we used to play together,” Jonathan commented on the signs, adding that he was generally the “most improved player.”
The “Property Brothers” star then pulled out his phone and FaceTimes his twin.
“I know this is gonna hurt. But I am getting the most insane behind-the-scenes tour of the Intuit Dome,” Jonathan told his brother.
“Without me?” Drew protested.
In the YouTube comments, fans encouraged Drew to get his revenge and go on an exciting tour of his own.
The “Property Brothers” Stars Race For a Cure
Although Drew and Jonathan Scott are best known for their home renovation shows on HGTV, they’ve had a blast exploring the world of acting lately.
The twins made a hilarious cameo on HBO’s “Hacks.” In the episode, Jonathan and Drew are competing on “The Amazing Race” against the main character, Deborah Vance. In the episode, Drew adds that they want to donate their prize money to Alzheimer’s research if they win.
“We have a family member who died from Alzheimer’s. So we’re going on this journey for the patients and doctors who are running the much harder race, the one for a cure,” Jonathan shares in the episode.
When asked about her own motives for doing the show, Deborah Vance hilariously declares she’s promoting her comeback show at Madison Square Garden.
