Nicole Curtis‘ “Rehab Addict” will be returning to HGTV soon, according to the show’s star. Curtis shared an update about when fans can expect to see the remaining shows of the new season.
Nicole Curtis Gives a ‘Rehab Addict’ Update
On August 29, Curtis took to Instagram to give an update about her summer off and the return of “Rehab Addict.”
“Back — Only because in October it will be my 15 year Anniversary of ‘Rehab Addict.’ True story,” she explained in the caption.
The HGTV star continued, “I’ll tell you all what you missed — I crashed my vintage Schwinn Sting Ray teaching children how to do a wheelie. Worse road rash I’ve ever had that didn’t involve a motor. It hurt like hell and I took it as a great opportunity to hide even further into my summer.”
“I got into this zone of nostalgia like I’ve never had before,” Curtis noted. “Camped out with children and determined to do a summer like I was living in 1991-1994, but with money to not be at my 2.75 [an] hour job. Cruised our old cars, unlimited ice cream, smores for breakfast, campfires, jumping off the boat, days with grama Fay, hanging out with friends and just sticking to my ‘if it causes me angst — not doing it’ plan. I, also, broke my phone and didn’t get it fixed (until today).”
Curtis teased that she was getting back to work for “Rehab Addict,” though she didn’t give a specific air date for the show.
“Anyhow, school has started and a deal is a deal,” she wrote. “There’s houses to be saved and developers to piss off so back to work I go🙃.”
Nicole Curtis Paused ‘Rehab Addict’ for the Summer
After the new season of “Rehab Addict” premiered in June 2025 and aired two episodes, Curtis announced that the remaining episodes would be pushed to the fall.
On July 8, Curtis took to Instagram to explain why the remaining two episodes of “Rehab Addict” were postponed.
“First, THANK YOU for making ‘Rehab Addict’ a number one rated show, again. You came out and shocked the heck out of all of us with the numbers ❤️❤️ if you missed the first two, watch them now streaming or don’t worry, I’m bringing those back along with the other new ones,” Curtis wrote in the caption.
She continued, “Second, here’s what is going on … I made the executive decision to shelf the rest of our new shows until Fall. I appreciate your support and understanding for the late notice. It’s just a lot of hours (my hours) to get a show on air and we (my family +me) thought — why are we giving up Summer when we have the ability to do this in the Fall?”
She noted, “Thank you to the powers at be at HGTV that were receptive to our idea.”
“Third, without a doubt, I, truly, am beyond happy with this decision as I just spent the day with a phone that was dead and had no worries about it 😀,” the HGTV star added.
