Bad Bunny Owns Ariana Grande’s Former $8.3 Million L.A. ‘Cottage’ — Get All of the Details!

Grammy Award-winning artist and Super Bowl Halftime Show performer Bad Bunny has a few places that he can call home. He owns an estate in Hollywood Hills and a mansion in Puerto Rico’s capital, San Juan, according to Home & Gardens. Beyond that, he has rented a West Chelsea penthouse “for a record-breaking $150,000 a month (one of the most expensive rentals in the city).” That’s not to mention the Los Angeles house that he bought from fellow music industry icon Ariana Grande.

“Though it was never on the market, records reveal the Bird Streets place sold for $8.3 million to Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, the Puerto Rican rapper better known to his millions of worldwide fans as Bad Bunny,” according to Robb Report.

Grande purchased the home in 2021, per Robb Report, before selling it to Bad Bunny in 2023.

The Home Is Described as a ‘Cottage’

Built in 1946 and renovated in 2020, the home “boasts an adorable rustic charm with modern finishes,” according to Realtor.com.

Sitting on three separate pieces of land, Robb Report notes that the property “cling[s] to a steep hillside, with vertigo-inducing vistas.” The home — “a low-slung cottage” — that is just under 1,600 square feet offers the famous owner three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Realtor.com also notes that the home “comes complete with a large outdoor patio, a lavish swimming pool, and a two-car garage.”

The Bird Streets Neighborhood is Home to Other Celebrities

“The Bird Streets—Flicker Way, Thrasher Avenue, Warbler Way and others—were named starting in the 1920s,” according to Forbes. That’s not to mention Oriole Lane, Nightingale Drive, Bluebird Avenue and Mockingbird Place, LAHomes.com notes.

“The neighborhood is bordered by Trousdale Estates on the west, Hollywood Hills to the north and east, and Sunset Strip to the south,” Forbes explains. “Blue Jay Way in particular became well-known after George Harrison stayed there in the late 1960s and wrote a song using the street name as its title.”

Forbes also points out that “[s]ale prices have fetched more than $70 million because of the neighborhood’s prime location and luxury estates.”

Celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Aniston have called the Bird Streets neighborhood home, per Forbes. Beyond that, Chueire Group called it a “[c]onvenient hillside locale in the Hollywood Hills that’s home to many of today’s A-list celebs,” while noting that Keanu Reeves, Jodie Foster and the late Matthew Perry have also been residents of the area.
