Demi Lovato Wows in a Sheer Dress: VIDEO

Sheer style continues to dominate red carpets and industry events. Just take a peek at semi-see-through ensembles on stars like Jenna Ortega, Mia Goth and Sydney Sweeney. That’s not to mention Demi Lovato.

Showing up at the “Vogue World: Hollywood” event on Sunday, October 26, Demi appeared in a stunning white outfit that boasted thick frills around the neck, cuffs and hems as well as down the front. Of course, what also made the look so striking was the fact that it featured a sheer lace fabric.

Beneath the white lace, Demi wore a dark set of bra and panties.

Keeping her makeup rather light and her hair pulled back (except for one perfectly placed lock), she truly let her outfit be the star of the show.

Demi’s Style Has ‘Changed A Lot’

Demi may stick with super-stylish looks; however, her tastes have also evolved over the years.

In March 2024, Allure asked the star, “How has your relationship with your image changed while living in the public eye for nearly two decades?”

“It’s changed a lot,” Demi noted. “I was this wide-eyed, fresh-faced little Disney Channel actor and singer and over the years I’ve experimented with my style a lot. Now I feel like I’ve kind of chilled out. I’m not waking up with pink hair anymore.”

“I used to put a lot of pressure on myself. And now I’ve taken that pressure off—to where I’m not trying to fit a certain mold or a certain size,” she continued. “I’m just trying to be healthy and live my best life regardless of what other people think of me. It’s a daily struggle sometimes. But for the most part, I don’t care as much as I used to. I’ve lived in the public eye for so long; it can consume you. And I just don’t let it consume me anymore. I don’t let it consume my mental health.”

Demi Offered Style Advice

While talking to Allure, Demi not only reflected on how her style is different now as opposed to when she was younger, she also offered some style advice for teenagers.

“Have fun with it,” she said. “Your teens are all about exploration with style and beauty and things like that. Those are the years when you’re supposed to play with makeup trends and dye your hair different colors.

“At one point, I had a half-shaved head with pink hair,” the star recalled. “It was really fun. I don’t regret anything. I had a really good time doing it. But there was another time where I had a bowl cut — a baby pink bowl cut — and I kind of regret that one. It was cute during photo shoots. [Laughs] Day to day, it was not for me.”
