It is an exciting night for music as 2026 marks the 68th time the Grammy Awards are held. This is everything you need to know about the award ceremony, including who will be hosting, who the performers are, and where and when to watch.
Where & When to Watch
The Grammy Awards take place tonight, Sunday, February 1. It will be broadcast live on CBS from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. The award show will air from 8:00-11:30 p.m. ET. and be available on demand on Paramount+.
Hosts & Presenters
Comedian and late-night host Trevor Noah will be hosting the Grammy Awards for the sixth time. However, it will be his last time hosting the event. “After last year’s show, he respectfully said, ‘Look, I’ve done a great five years, it’s time to hand the microphone off to somebody else and move on,'” executive producer Ben Winston told reporters, Entertainment Weekly reports. Winston admits to begging Noah to come back for one last time.
“I sent him a video, and I was literally, I was on my knees in this video, and I said, ‘Please look at this incredible lineup that we’ve got on the show — the only thing that’s missing is you,'” Winston said.
Joining Noah to make the show a success is a list of celebrity presenters, including Carole King, Nikki Glaser, Q-Tip, Queen Latifah, Chappell Roan, Charli xcx, Doechii, Harry Styles, Jeff Goldblum, KAROL G, Lainey Wilson, Marcello Hernández, and Teyana Taylor. The official Grammy Awards website has also teased “an additional surprise presenter” who will be revealed on the night.
Grammy Award Performers
There is an incredible lineup of performers this evening, including Grammy award-nominated artists. The list includes Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber, Clipse and Pharrell Williams, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Tyler, The Creator, Sabrina Carpenter, Reba McEntire, and ROSÉ.
There will also be a special Best New Artist segment featuring all nominees performing, and a segment honoring Ozzy Osbourne, performed by Post Malone, Andrew Watt, Chad Smith, Duff McKagan, and Slash.
Making History
Kendrick Lamar is expected to have another phenomenal award season, and he leads the nominations with nine this year. He also has the possibility of making history and overtaking Jay-Z’s record of 25 wins. If he does this, he will become the rapper with the most Grammy wins, NBC reports.
Another first this evening belongs to Timothée Chalamet, who was nominated for his first Grammy Award for the Bob Dylan biopic “A Complete Unknown.”
Winner Predictions
Kendrick Lamar is nominated for Record of the Year and Album of the Year, both of which are expected to be nabbed by him. He faces tough competition from Lady Gaga and Bad Bunny for Album of the Year. Best New Artist is expected to go to Olivia Dean.
