Jessica Simpson’s Mini-Me Daughter Makes a Sweet Tribute to Her: PHOTOS

Jessica Simpson’s daughter, Birdie, made her mom feel extra special for a school event. In an Instagram post shared by the “Sweet Kisses” singer on October 9, Simpson shared a carousel of photos of Birdie with her hair in a ponytail and in a black t-shirt featuring her face on it.

Birdie also sported silver booties and denim cutoffs reminiscent of Simpson’s “Daisy Dukes” movie. The six-year-old accessorized with lots of bling on her ears, fingers, and neck.

“Today is dress as your favorite artist for spirit week at school and Bird wanted to dress up as meeeeee,” Simpson wrote.

“This truly brought the biggest smile to my face!!! Love all the jewelry just like mom too. This is the sweetest. So much love,” a fan wrote in the comments.

Another gushed, “Gorgeous little girl like her mama.” Drag queen Victoria Shakespears commented, “Omg Birdie with her Sweet Kisses T-Shirt!!! Her mommy, her favorite artist like mine too.”

Birdie Is a Fashionista Just Like Simpson

Simpson famously sang her rendition of “These Boots Are Made For Walkin’,” and it looks like her daughter Birdie is following in her footsteps.

The singer’s youngest child celebrated her sixth birthday with a ruched bubblegum pink dress and the same silver cowboy boots she wore dressed as her mom.

“Birdie is a one-of-a-kind personality that can make the sun always shine and the moon beam on your every dream,” Simpson described her precocious daughter.

“Her favorite color is a pastel rainbow and sometimes she just favors all black … oh she just told me it is now green,” she added.

Simpson continued, “She sings, she screams, she belly dances Bollywood, she knits, she flips and flops her way through gymnastics, she treasures tiny things, and appreciates all kinds of art.”

“Birdie Mae is my soul child beltin’ SONGBIRD and is always on the BRIGHTEST SIDE OF LIFE!!!” the mom of three shared.

Simpson Bravely Opened Up About the Hardships of Motherhood

Simpson welcomed her daughter Maxwell in 2012 with her now-ex, Eric Johnson, followed by Ace in 2013, and Birdie in 2019.

Simpson is a doting mom, but pregnancy wasn’t always easy on her. In an interview with Motherly in 2022, she shared, “When I got pregnant four months later after having my daughter, I was definitely in shock and my hormones never had time to adjust.”

However, being pregnant also had its highs, with Simpson revealing, “Every pregnancy for me was so different.”

She added, “My first pregnancy I stopped working. It’s not that I stopped creating, but I got to really just embrace just being pregnant for the first time and it was truly a beautiful moment.”
