Kelly Osbourne is receiving public support from someone who has known her for decades.
The television personality’s longtime hairstylist, Lino Carbosiero, shared a heartfelt message on Instagram defending Kelly after she recently responded to body-shaming comments online.
Carbosiero’s Sweet Post
The post included a photo of the pair together shortly after he styled her hair.
“Could you please send some love to my dear friend @kellyosbourne,” Carbosiero wrote on Tuesday, March 3. “She’s been so loyal, kind and supportive to me and my family throughout the years.”
The veteran stylist — who revealed he has known Kelly since she was young — explained that their friendship stretches back decades.
“I’ve been cutting her hair since she was a kid and she is very special to me,” he continued. “Kelly, you only deserve the best! Keep strong xxx.”
In the photo shared alongside the message, Carbosiero wrapped an arm around the 41-year-old while she held his hand. Kelly appeared with a freshly styled strawberry-blonde look, featuring a blunt bob and straight bangs.
Carbosiero’s post comes shortly after Kelly addressed criticism about her appearance online following a recent public event.
Support From Friends After Online Criticism
The star attended the 2026 BRIT Awards in Manchester on Feb. 28 with her mother, Sharon Osbourne.
The pair were there to accept a posthumous lifetime achievement honor on behalf of Kelly’s father, Ozzy Osbourne, who died in July at age 76.
While the moment was meant to celebrate Ozzy’s legacy, the appearance also sparked commentary online about Kelly’s body — something several people close to her quickly spoke out against.
Model and daughter of Steven Tyler, Mia Tyler, was among the first to defend Kelly publicly.
In a message shared to Instagram on March 2 — which Kelly later reposted — Tyler reminded critics that grief can deeply affect a person.
“Public grief is not public property. Grief can change a person,” Tyler wrote. “That doesn’t make their body a topic for debate.”
She urged people to show compassion before making comments about someone’s appearance.
“Before you comment on someone’s body, consider the possibility that they’re carrying something heavier than your opinion,” Tyler continued.
Tyler also acknowledged the emotional weight of the moment Kelly was experiencing at the awards ceremony.
“It takes real strength to stand in the public eye, accepting accolades for their late iconic father and hold themselves together in front of the world,” she wrote.
Carbosiero’s message echoed a similar sentiment — highlighting Kelly’s character and the loyalty he has seen from her throughout their long friendship.
For Kelly, the outpouring of support from longtime friends appears to serve as a reminder that those closest to her are firmly in her corner.
