Taylor Swift was MIA at the 2026 Grammys, but that didn’t stop her from enjoying the afterparty.
The “Opalite” singer and former adviser on “The Voice” turned heads at a Sunday night bash despite sitting out the main event.
In a video shared on X, Swift, 36, can be seen mingling with guests while enjoying her drink. The mega popstar kept it low-key with a chic long-sleeved black top matched with her signature red lipstick and gold necklaces. She also wore her straight hair down.
Fans were quick to react to Swift’s latest sighting. While some were happy to see her having fun at the Grammys afterparty, others couldn’t hide their disappointment over her absence from the main event.
One fan wrote, “The queen is always the main attraction, even at the after-party.”
Someone commented, “Night so boring they had to call Taylor,” while another chimed in, “Miss her so much.”

Many fans had hoped to see Swift at this year’s Grammys, whether presenting an award or taking the stage for a performance.
However, the singer was not nominated for any category this time, after her latest album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” missed the deadline for this year’s nomination.
The singer released her latest record in October, just two months shy of the eligibility cutoff.
This marks the first time Swift hasn’t received a single nomination since 2017. Last year, she was up for Album of the Year for “The Tortured Poets Department,” as well as Record of the Year and Song of the Year for “Fortnight,” and Best Pop Vocal Album.
Swift has a total of 14 Grammys under her belt. She secured her first four wins in 2010, including Album of the Year and Best Country Album for “Fearless,” as well as Best Country Song and Best Female Country Vocal Performance for “White Horse.”

Meanwhile, Swift and Travis Kelce are reportedly taking their time planning their wedding. A source told PEOPLE in December that the power couple is in no rush overall.
“When it comes to wedding planning, nothing feels rushed or one-sided,” the source told the outlet. “They’re both equally involved and excited, and this isn’t something one or the other is carrying on their own.”
According to another source, Swift and Kelce are focused on their relationship, spending as much time together as possible after a busy year.
“Taylor’s had an incredibly full, demanding year and she’s really proud of everything she’s accomplished,” the insider told PEOPLE. “She’s worked extremely hard and her schedule has been nonstop, but even with everything going on, she and Travis still put a lot into their relationship.”
