Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are quietly preparing for their highly anticipated wedding, and insiders say it’s bringing them closer than ever.
The NFL star, 36, is said to be involved in the process, but is letting his bride-to-be take the lead, a source told US Magazine.
The outlet added that Swift finds the gesture “cute” and enjoys doing it with Kelce.
“Taylor thinks it’s cute, and it’s something they have been bonding over,” the source said.
An Intimate Wedding for the Power Couple
GettyKelce and Swift are also reportedly not aiming for an extravagant affair and hope to keep the event as intimate as possible. The source told US Magazine that it “won’t be a super huge wedding as far as guest count.”
The outlet added that the couple is already thinking ahead, noting that they’re talking about starting a family after getting married.
“Taylor and Travis are both very excited about their next chapter,” the source claimed.
Swift and Kelce first started dating in September 2023. They got engaged on August 26, 2025.

A source revealed to US Magazine that Swift is “visibly lighter and laughing a lot more” because of Kelce.
“Travis gives her a fearless playfulness and the confidence to take up space unapologetically,” the insider added.
Another source told the outlet that the relationship has allowed the “Opalite” singer “to be softer and more vulnerable in front of the world.”
“Travis has given Taylor a sense of calm,” the source added. “He supports her in ways that she could have never imagined, and he never expects her to perform or curate a persona around him. That kind of ease has given her permission to be her real self.”
In 2023, Swift reflected on her very public relationship with Kelce.
“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” the singer told TIME. “The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”
Meanwhile, Kelce told George Clooney that he and Swift have “never once” gotten into an argument.
“Well, it’s only been two and a half years, and you’re right, I haven’t gotten in an argument. Never once,” Kelce said during the December 3 episode of “New Heights.”
