Travis Kelce is turning to his friend Greg Olsen for wedding advice — but not for his own nuptials with Taylor Swift.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 36, chatted with the retired NFL star on the Wednesday, January 21 episode of his and Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast.
Travis Kelce Asks for Wedding Must-Haves
In the episode, Travis brought up Olsen attending fellow NFL star Christian McCaffrey’s wedding to Olivia Culpo in 2024. He then noted that their intern is getting married soon and asked Olsen for some tips.
“Do you have any advice for him — and him alone — on the five must-haves at a good wedding?” Travis grins, making it clear he was referring just to their intern.
Olsen joked, “Number one’s me. I mean, let’s just be honest. I just want to be clear here for anyone potentially getting married — I don’t say it, but there’s a lot of people sayin’ it — if you want it to be memorable and you want there to be great energy and great camaraderie and fellowship and moments, I’m at the top of that list.”
Jason jumped in, teasing Travis to make sure Olsen gets an invite to his own wedding.
“Listen, we don’t do pity invites,” Olsen chimed in. “There’s no pressure.”
Olsen went on to elaborate on several reasons why he makes a good wedding guest. He jokingly brags about his ability to “dance with grandma or the bride or the bridesmaid” and even do “karaoke if it gets crazy.”
Travis Kelce & Taylor Swift’s Wedding Plans
Meanwhile, fans joined the fun in the comment section, with some pointing out Travis’ reaction to Olsen’s wedding tip.
One fan commented, “Travis blushing is adorable.”
Another joked, “Greg just wants to dance with Mama Kelce & Mama Swift! Come on @killatrav don’t deny Greg his moment.”
Someone wrote, “I think Trav was taking that advice for himself.”
So far, Travis and the “Opalite” hitmaker haven’t talked much about their wedding plans. However, sources told PEOPLE back in December that the couple is moving forward at their own pace.
“When it comes to wedding planning, nothing feels rushed or one-sided,” the source told the outlet. “They’re both equally involved and excited, and this isn’t something one or the other is carrying on their own. They’re approaching it as a partnership, talking things through together and enjoying the process in a way that feels natural to them.”
Travis and Taylor first started dating in September 2023. The couple announced their engagement on August 26, 2025.
