Abby Hornacek proved she can take a hit—literally—after a jaw-dropping live TV moment that quickly had viewers talking!
During a Saturday, March 28, appearance on “Fox & Friends,” Hornacek stepped onto the mat with rising wrestling star Kennedy Blades to promote the Real American Freestyle (RAF) wrestling event.
Hornacek Went Viral for the Video
What started as a routine interview turned into a full-on demonstration when Blades offered to show off her signature move—the suplex.
Hornacek admitted she was “so nervous” before the move, and for good reason.
“What do I do? I’m so nervous,” Hornacek said again.
Within seconds, Blades lifted her into the air, flipped her over her shoulder, and slammed her onto the mat in a move typically reserved for high-level competition.
The impact drew audible reactions from those watching nearby, as Hornacek hit the mat with a loud thud.
Fortunately, the demonstration was performed on padding, preventing any serious injury.
And in true pro fashion, Hornacek didn’t stay down for long.
She quickly jumped back to her feet, smiling and high-fiving Blades, showing no signs of fear after the intense moment.
“Amazing,” she said after getting off of the mat. “I don’t think I can be a wrestler.”
While joking with the studio crew afterward, she even poked fun at the experience.
“The mic pack did not survive, but I did luckily,” she quipped, holding up her damaged equipment. “I know that looked worse than it was, but it was a lot of fun.”
Hornacek’s Co-Hosts Made Sure She Was Okay
Despite the rough landing, Hornacek described the feeling in dramatic terms, saying it was “like being thrown off a skyscraper”—a comment that left her co-hosts both stunned and amused.
“Are you okay?!” one host asked.
“I feel great. I feel like a million bucks,” she replied, brushing off any concern.
Hornacek later shared the now-viral clip to her Instagram and wrote, “Got suplexed by an Olympian today so that’s cool @kennedyblades.”
Fans quickly took to social media and applauded the host.
“Have a lot of respect for her doing this ! Not even seasoned wrestlers will do this,” one fan wrote.
Another added, “Holy smokes!!!”
Blades, who currently holds the RAF women’s middleweight title, is no stranger to high-stakes competition.
The accomplished wrestler earned a silver medal in freestyle wrestling at the 2024 Paris Olympics and followed it up with a bronze medal at the 2025 World Championships.
Her appearance on the show served as a preview of what fans can expect from the RAF event airing later that day on Fox Nation.
