Hudson appeared alongside “The Devil Wears Prada 2” star Anne Hathaway in the 2009 film “Bride Wars,” where the pair played best friends who both reach bridezilla level when planning their weddings for the same day.

PEOPLE reported Hudson said her onscreen frenemy was “the moment” right now, and called her “smart, caring, intentional.”

While she admitted she hasn’t seen Hathaway’s latest film, she is reportedly “so excited” to do so.

At the time, Hathaway gave similarly rave reviews to her co-star in an interview with Female First.

Speaking about their famous bridal showdown scene, Hathaway stated she felt “very lucky to be there.”

“I know that sounds funny but female buddy comedies don’t get made very often and to have such a fun physical cat fight with a great girl like Kate captured on screen forever, well, I remember feeling very lucky,” she said.

“When the offer came in to do ‘Bride Wars’ I knew Kate and I would get along,” she said. “Then we sat down and talked about the script and we realized that we would have a great working relationship as well.”

“How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days” showcases Hudson and McConaughey’s sizzling chemistry, and she has nothing but love for her rom-com co-star.

“He is the most unique, wonderful, spontaneous, unpredictable man I’ve ever worked with,” Hudson gushed at the Time100 event.

“He’s competitive in the best ways. He is so much fun to laugh with. He’s down for anything. I love how unpredictable he is because I feel like I love… anybody who’s unpredictable, I want to hang around because I’m down too.”

She also called him “protective” and “a great father.”

“He’s a really great family man. And he cares deeply about his work, but mostly about the human condition, and finding inner peace, or at least contentment. And we connect on that very much. Yeah, Matthew’s a really unique, special person,” she shared.

“I love her so much. I love Kathryn Hahn,” she said. “Hilarious, loving, nuts and beautiful, amazing mother. She’s a great partner. She’s a seriously great friend. She’s a soulmate type of friend for me. I love her so much. She roots for the best version of everybody.”

She continued, “Every ounce of her is goodness. I just love Kathryn… Yeah, I could work with her over and over and over again.”
