Rachel Zoe joined “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” for its 14th season, which is currently airing on Bravo and streaming on Peacock. So far, the famed designer has been vulnerable about her split from Rodger Berman while appearing on the show. More recently, the RHOBH star revealed that Jennifer Garner was one of the first people she called after the breakup.
Notably, Zoe has been close friends with Garner since 2003, when she styled her for the Emmys.
Rachel Zoe Says Jennifer Garner Helped Her Find a Divorce Attorney
GettyZoe appeared on the “Inside Edit” podcast in March 2026. While on, she discussed her divorce from Berman, revealing that she had called Garner for legal advice. Regarding how the actress took the news, Zoe stated, “Her reaction was so interesting, and I’ll never forget it.”
She continued, “She was like, ‘You must be so exhausted.’ And I knew what she meant by it. And I was, I really was so exhausted.” From there, the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star said that Garner recommended celebrity divorce lawyer Laura Wasser, whom she employed for her much-talked-about divorce from Ben Affleck.
The conversation continued, and Zoe began to discuss the end of her marriage, stating that she “knew it was over because [she] was spending more time sad than happy.” Zoe went on, “The person that I never went anywhere without, I wanted to go without. I started going to things alone or with friends, and that was a symbol to me.”
She also stated that the changes in her lifestyle, including spending less time with Berman, began to mirror those of other friends who ended up divorced.
The RHOBH Star Discusses Now Using Berman’s Last Name
Zoe appeared on “The Burnouts with Phoebe and Sophia” podcast in February 2026. While on the show, she said she didn’t use her ex-husband’s last name except with her family.
According to “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star, “I would never, ever take a man’s last name now. I wouldn’t. I mean, I didn’t really use it, to be honest with you. I used it with our kids, and like, when we traveled and stuff like that. But in my professional life, from the age of 21, I was Rachel Zoe.”
Later in the podcast, Zoe admitted that she felt she’d married Berman too early. She said, “I found my person too early. I knew it then, truthfully. I did. I used to say, like, I wish I could meet him at like 27, 28, and then be with him for four, five years, and then have kids.”
Zoe added, “I knew that I met him too early, but he was older than me. And [I was] so young, I mean, I was 19 years old.”
“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” airs on Bravo on Thursday nights. Fans can stream the show on Peacock the following day.
