Finn Carr (Rocco) and Asher Antonyzyn (Danny) are two young soap stars making waves on “General Hospital.” They are part of an extremely talented teen scene on the ABC soap that has been at the forefront of the show for the past couple of years. Recently, Rocco and Danny, who are like brothers, had a major falling out. Danny learned his dad, Jason (Steve Burton), went to prison because he was covering for Rocco in Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) shooting. Carr and Antonyzyn recently addressed what the future holds for their characters as they navigate their restrained relationship.
‘General Hospital’s Finn Carr and Asher Tease Trouble
The two teens did a joint interview with ABC11 North Carolina’s GH virtual insider, Dearon Smith. Antonyzyn and Carr had a lot to say about working on “General Hospital” together and the bond they have built.
Smith wasted no time asking if Carr and Antonyzyn could give him a tease on where things go from here for Danny and Rocco. They didn’t spill any details, but Carr did say that more trouble looms for the teens.
“A lot happens. We get into a lot of trouble,” Finn expressed before looking at Antonyzyn to say, “You get in a lot of trouble.” The soap star also hinted that Rocco, too, gets into trouble, but not like Danny.
Antonyzyn chimed in to say, “Danny doesn’t really know when to stop.” The actor shared that Danny “might” do something, get yelled at for it, and then “might” do something again.
They didn’t give details, but from the smiles on their faces, the guys are excited about what’s coming up.
One thing fans know for sure is that Danny will continue to bond with Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) as they gear up to blackmail Drew (Cameron Mathison) into letting Danny see his little sister, Scout (Kayden Brenna Tokarski).
Meanwhile, Rocco and Scout are growing closer, which Carr also addressed during the interview.
Finn Carr Speaks Out on Scout and Rocco’s Relationship
Like Danny, Rocco and Scout consider themselves siblings. The three of them were raised as a family when Rocco’s dad, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), was with Danny and Scout’s mom, Sam (Kelly Monaco). Sam and Dante lived together with the kids up until her death.
However, recent interactions between Scout and Rocco have some “General Hospital” fans wondering if a new teen romance is brewing.
“That’s an interesting question. Kaden is great to work with, and I love working with her. There definitely is some great stuff coming up that people are going to want to watch. It’s good stuff and really fun,” Carr expressed when Smith asked him. It’s a sore spot with fans, considering Rocco and Scout were raised like siblings.
The same goes for Danny and Charlotte, who have kissed even though they are technically cousins. Antonyzyn admitted that the relationship between Charlotte and Danny is now more like the decades-long friendship between Carly (Laura Wright) and Jason than anything romantic.
“General Hospital” fans should buckle up because the teen scene is bringing the drama as the summer season winds down.
