Carly And Valentin Discuss Their Future Together
Monday’s episode opened with Carly returning home to find Valentin questioning where they stand after their recent kiss. Valentin worried that Carly had been avoiding him, but she quickly reassured him that wasn’t the case. Carly reminded him that she was the one who kissed him and made it clear she wasn’t running away from their growing connection.
The conversation quickly turned romantic, but the pair’s private moment was interrupted when Lulu arrived at Carly’s door looking for support.
Unaware that Valentin was listening from another room, Lulu admitted that she feared she had played a role in Rocco’s disappearance. She also revealed that she had obtained a fake passport for Rocco that he later used when he skipped town with Britt. Lulu explained that she had intended to leave Charlotte behind with Laura because she didn’t want her daughter uprooted again after everything she had already endured with Valentin.
After Lulu left, Valentin emerged and defended himself against Lulu’s criticism. While he acknowledged he wasn’t a perfect father, he argued that Lulu wasn’t without fault either.
Jack Drops A Bombshell On Nina
At Turning Woods, Nina arrived prepared to continue drugging Jack but ultimately decided she couldn’t go through with it. Instead, she destroyed the syringe and updated Jack on everything that had been happening while he remained incapacitated.
Jack listened as Nina explained the risks she was taking to help him while keeping her involvement hidden from both Willow and Sidwell. Once they were alone, Jack revealed that he needed Nina to contact Carly.
The request immediately raised Nina’s suspicions. However, Jack’s explanation left her stunned.
Jack informed Nina that Valentin was currently hiding at Carly’s house. He then delivered an even bigger shock when he revealed that Carly and Valentin were romantically involved.
The revelation suddenly put several recent interactions into perspective for Nina, including Carly’s behavior at the hospital. Realizing Carly knew far more than she had admitted, Nina demanded answers about why Jack wanted to speak with Valentin after everything that had happened between them.
After finishing her conversation with Jack, Nina heads straight to Carly’s and demands to see Valentin.
Josslyn Attempts To Turn Pascal Against Sidwell
Meanwhile, Josslyn continued looking for any advantage she could find while being held captive.
When Pascal brought her food, he complained about how his life had changed since leaving The Five Poppies. His frustration inadvertently gave Josslyn valuable information about where she was being held, confirming her suspicions that she was trapped beneath Wyndemere on Spoon Island.
Rather than showing fear, Josslyn immediately went on the offensive.
She reminded Pascal that people like Sidwell don’t reward loyalty forever. Josslyn argued that once Sidwell and his associates no longer needed him, Pascal would become a liability rather than an asset. While Pascal dismissed her warnings and insisted Sidwell would protect him, Josslyn continued planting seeds of doubt.
By the time Pascal locked her back inside her room, it was clear her words had made an impact. Though he refused to admit it, Pascal appeared increasingly uncertain about where his loyalty should lie.
Lucas Agrees To Help Sonny And Laura Bring Down Sidwell
At Laura’s apartment, Lucas was surprised to discover Sonny waiting for him.
Laura and Sonny brought Lucas up to speed on their growing concerns about Sidwell and explained what Britt had told them regarding Dalton’s murder. They also discussed Pascal’s alleged involvement in cleaning up the crime scene and wondered whether he could be persuaded to testify against Sidwell.
Lucas wasn’t convinced Pascal would turn easily. However, after sharing everything he knew about Marco’s death and Sidwell’s possible connection to it, he became increasingly invested in helping bring the businessman down.
Determined to see justice served for Marco, Lucas agreed to work alongside Sonny and Laura despite their complicated history. Before leaving, he suggested that Pascal might ultimately be the key to exposing Sidwell’s entire operation.
Brook Lynn And Tracy Prepare A Dangerous Move Against Sidwell
At the Quartermaine mansion, Brook Lynn and Tracy sought legal advice from Ric regarding their growing concerns about Sidwell’s involvement with Deception.
After hearing the details, Ric suggested they confront Sidwell directly and threaten to expose his questionable business dealings if he refused to divest from the company. While Tracy worried that a federal investigation could damage Deception as well, Ric argued that convincing Sidwell they were prepared to follow through might be enough to force his hand.
The women eventually agreed that a surprise confrontation offered their best chance of success.
Brook Lynn proposed bringing Lucy along since she wanted Sidwell out just as badly as they did. Although Ric warned them that Sidwell was dangerous and unlikely to walk away quietly, Tracy remained determined to move forward with the plan.
Dante And Lulu Continue To Clash Over Rocco’s Disappearance
At the PCPD, Dante continued searching for answers while struggling to process everything that had happened with Rocco.
During a conversation with Elizabeth, Dante admitted he was still angry with Lulu and believed much of the situation could have been avoided if they had trusted each other. He also worried that Rocco may have convinced himself that his family would be better off without him.
As the investigation continued, Detective Joe reported that there were still no major leads. However, a syringe discovered among Britt’s belongings caught Dante’s attention, prompting him to order additional testing.
Later, Elizabeth expressed her belief that Britt genuinely loved Rocco and would do everything possible to protect him. Unbeknownst to both of them, Lulu arrived just in time to overhear the conversation.
Elsewhere, Lucas arrived at the PCPD with information about Marco’s murder and informed Joe that they needed to speak with Pascal immediately.
With Nina confronting Carly, Lucas moving against Sidwell, and Pascal beginning to question his loyalty, several major battles appear ready to collide in Port Charles.
