Charlie Davis has officially made it to “The White Lotus.”
The “Survivor” competitor is one of two contestants from “Survivor 50” chosen by fellow show alum Mike White to appear on White’s HBO series. As announced during the recent season finale, Davis and Kamilla Karthigesu both secured Season 4 cameos.
With the show currently filming in France, paparazzi photos have begun to emerge from the set. And, in new pictures from May 26, Davis is seen alongside some pretty high-profile names.
Davis Spotted on ‘White Lotus’ Set
Paparazzi photos published by Just Jared on May 27 show Charlie filming scenes set during the Cannes Film Festival.
The pictures show Davis decked out in a black suit for what appears to be a fictional festival premiere. In some photos, he’s seen next to series star Marissa Long, who was dressed in a stunning pink sequel gown.
Other images show him posing for a group photo with other members of the A-list cast, including Laura Dern, Chris Messina, and Charlie Hall. Dern only recently joined the cast, after coming in last minute as a replacement for Helena Bonham Carter.
While details remain scarce about the new season, it appears that at least some of the cast will be playing actors or filmmakers. Karthigesu hasn’t yet been spotted on set.
More ‘Survivor’ Stars on The White Lotus
“The White Lotus” creator Mike White confirmed both Davis and Karthigesu would appear on Season 4 during the recent “Survivor 50” finale. The pair also reacted to the news in a video shared to social media, in which they showed off their French-speaking skills, or lack thereof, with a laugh.
They’re hardly the first “Survivor” stars to make the jump from Fiji to the show’s swanky sets, however.
Season 1 of “The White Lotus” featured Alec Merlino as a bartender, while Angelina Keeley and Kara Kay both appeared in a beach scene on the show’s second season. For Season 3, Natalie Cole, Christian Hubicki, and Carl Boudreaux all also had small cameos.
They all competed on “Survivor: David vs. Goliath” with White, a “Survivor” superfan.
What We Know About ‘White Lotus’ Season 4
So far, not too much is know about Season 4 of “The White Lotus.”
In an April press release, HBO confirmed that the new episodes will “follow a new group of White Lotus hotel guests and employees over the span of a week, taking place during the Cannes Film Festival.” The network also revealed that the story would take place largely along the Côte d’Azur, with filming in Cannes, St. Tropez, and Monaco.
The real-life Airelles Château de la Messardière still stand in as the White Lotus du Cap, while the Hôtel Martinez will be featured as the White Lotus Cannes. Additional scenes will also be filmed in Paris.
Aside from Dern, Messina, and Long, a number of big names are attached to Season 4.
Among them: Vincent Cassel, Steve Coogan, Caleb Jonte Edwards, Dylan Ennis, Corentin Fila, Ari Graynor, Alexander Ludwig, AJ Michalka, Kumail Nanjiani, and Nadia Tereszkiewicz. Additional cast includes Chloe Bennet, Sandra Bernhard, Heather Graham, Max Greenfield, Frida Gustavsson, Charlie Hall, Jarrad Paul, Rosie Perez, Ben Schnetzer, and Laura Smet.
