Is There a New Episode of ‘Survivor’ on TV This Week? 2/18/2026

The excitement for “Survivor” 50 has taken over, as fans want to see a new episode of “Survivor” 2026 tonight on TV. While there is an episode of “Survivor” airing tonight on CBS, it’s not a new one, even though your guide might be telling you it’s new! Check out the details below in our “Survivor” spoilers.

Is ‘Survivor’ New This Week?

No! Technically, your guide or the TV Guide website is showing it as a brand-new episode. However, we all know that the “Survivor” season 50 premiere takes place next week, on Wednesday, February 25, at 8/7c.

So, why might it look like there is a new episode tonight on CBS? The network is currently in the middle of re-airing the 10 best episodes of “Survivor.” This is to get fans excited for the new season and have something to compete against the Olympics with.

Classic Episodes

I mean, we have 24 returning castaways on “Survivor” 50, so do we really need to be hyped up even more? CBS believes we do, so why not sit back and watch some classics while you impatiently wait?

This 10-night event kicked off on Monday, February 9, and has been airing a classic “Survivor” episode every weeknight. This special 10-night event wraps up this Friday, February 20.

So, if you are interested in watching these classic episodes, we are down to the final three episodes. To be honest, they aren’t the classics, but gives you a chance to relive some of the moments for the castaways on this upcoming season.

For tonight’s episode, we are looking at the season 45 castaways, Dee Valladares and Emily Flippen. This will be “The Ex-Girlfriend at The Wedding” episode from “Survivor” 45.

For Thursday, February 19, CBS will be re-airing the “Hide ‘N Seek” episode from “Survivor” 46. This will give viewers a chance to see castaways Q Burdette, Tiffany Ervin, and Charlie Davis compete before they get a second chance on “Survivor” 2026.

The last re-airing will take place on Friday, February 20, with the episode “Icarus Time” from “Survivor” 48. This features Kyle Fraser, Joe Hunter, and Kamilla Karthigesu, who are all returning for this new season.

“Survivor” 50 officially premieres on Wednesday, February 25 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. This will be a special three-hour premiere episode, but then shift to 90-minute episodes every other week. New episodes will be available to stream the next day on Paramount+.
