Taylor Swift is officially entering her Disney Pixar era!

The beloved artist confirmed her involvement in the upcoming animated film, “Toy Story 5.”

Taylor Swift in ‘Toy Story 5’

Swift took to social media on Monday, June 1, just days ahead of the film’s release, to announce her brand new song.

“It’s a Toy Story 🤠” she captioned her post. “You knew it! My new original song ‘I Knew It, I Knew You’ for Disney and @pixar’s @toystory 5 will be yours on June 5th.”

She continued, “I’ve always dreamed of getting to write for these characters who I’ve adored since I was a 5 year old kid watching the first Toy Story movie. I fell instantly in love with Toy Story 5 when I was lucky enough to see it in its early stages, and I wrote this song as soon as I got home from the screening. Sometimes you just know, right?”

Swift went on to announce that fans can pre-order her new song now before the film hits theaters on June 19.

Taylor Swift Rumors

Rumors have been swirling for weeks over the “Midnights” artist’s potential involvement in “Toy Story 5.”

It all began when Taylor Swift’s website featured a 48-hour countdown with what fans quickly identified as the “Toy Story” clouds. Swift often uses the countdown method to tease upcoming music or merch drops. However, when the 48 hours came and went, fans were left more confused than ever.

After weeks of speculation, fans began noticing billboards for the film featured Easter eggs for the Grammy winner’s involvement.

Billboards promoting the film featured the iconic blue background with white clouds with a simple “TS” in the signature font. Swifties were quick to recognize that “TS” may actually stand for Taylor Swift, instead of “Toy Story.”

“TS billboard spotted. Taylor Swift? Toy Story? Or are we all being played? 👀” one fan tweeted.

“I swear swifties can connect more dots than detectives. show them “ts” and a few random signs and the theory threads start instantly,” another wrote.

After a deeper look at the sign, fans noticed that it featured exactly 13 clouds — long known to be Swift’s lucky number.

“13 clouds and “TS”? 👀 Swifties know that can’t be a coincidence. The theories are about to go crazy. Swifties see “TS” and the number 13 everywhere now,” a third fan tweeted.

“Swifties can identify an album rollout from a cloud formation,” another joked.

According to a report from Variety, published just days before Swift’s announcement, there was no confirmation of a collab.

“Of course, no one is denying anything right now. Reps for both Disney and Swift had no comment when asked about the billboards Friday,” the outlet reported.

Shortly after Swift’s announcement, Pixar shared the news to its social media.

“Taylor Swift’s original song, “I Knew It, I Knew You” from Toy Story 5 is yours this Friday,” their caption read.

Swift’s “I Knew It, I Knew You” will debut Friday, June 5. “Toy Story 5” hits theaters Friday, June 19.
