Bachelor Nation Alum Documents His Mission to Track Down ‘Identity Thief’ Who Stole His Wallet

By now, viewers already know that Bachelor Nation can supply audiences with hours and hours of entertainment. From couples falling in love to tear-jerking breakups, drama is what the “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” stars to best.

But, when it comes to former “Bachelorette” and “Bachelor in Paradise” star Andrew Spencer, entertaining his fans looked a little different this time around. On Instagram, Spencer took his followers into a journey after being pickpocketed on a plane.

Andrew Spencer Tracked Down His Pickpocket

In his first video, Spencer, who’s currently dating former “Bachelor” contestant Alexe Godin, revealed that after his wallet was stolen on a plane, the thief went straight to shopping. “Shorty went straight to Zara,” he wrote.

With the bank notification in hand, Spencer hopped on a taxi and drove to the Zara to track them down “like Liam Neeson.” There, he spotted a familiar face and ran towards the unidentified woman.

“Yo! What’s up? I need my wallet,” he said as he approached. Initially, the pickpocket lied saying she returned the wallet when she got off the plane. “I’m not stupid,” he said. “Come on, now… Let’s solve this. I promise you, I will literally take out, I will give you $200. I just need my IDs, I just need my identification back.”

After some prying, Spencer and the pickpocket headed back to Zara where she had left his credits cards behind. Sadly, however, his mission was far from over. He had his cards, but his wallet with his IDs were left on the train.

Andrew Spencer Miraculously Secured His Wallet Too

After getting home from the confrontation with the thief, Spencer broke down what happened in a second video. He revealed that after the pickpocket showed some suspicious behavior on the plane, flight attendants knew exactly who had stolen from him. But, after running to the gate she was supposed to get her connecting flight from, no one showed up. That’s when the Zara notification popped up.

But while having his cards again was a relief, he still pleaded with his followers if anyone had found his wallet.

In the third video, Spencer concluded with the sweet ending his followers were looking for. Shortly after his videos were posted, he received a message saying that his wallet had been found and delivered to the CTA. Spencer then got on a bike and got there as fast as he could.

He ended the video with a note of encouragement, saying, “I don’t mean to be motivational in this moment, but when you persevere, when you dig deep and you believe — you truly believe — it can happen!!”
