Longtime fans of Bachelor Nation have followed everything about Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s life over the years. From his bumpy finale in season 22, to him building his beautiful family with his wife, Lauren Burnham Luyendyk, his fans have seen it all.
Most recently, however, the former racing driver shared a milestone that wasn’t his, and of a fan of his instead. On Instagram, the dad of four revealed that he officiated a fan wedding over the weekend.

In the video, Luyendyk started by explaining how the opportunity came out.
“I’m actually marrying a couple today,” he said. “Yes, I know — out of left field. But they reached out via Instagram and I thought, ‘Why not? This should be amazing!’”
The reality star then met with the couple and wrote a speech for the ceremony. “I practiced in front of Livvy and had Lauren pick out the outfit for the big day,” he said, referring to his baby daughter, Livvy Rowe, who was born in September 2025.
On his way to venue, nerves started coming in. “Okay, the nerves are starting to kick in a little bit, I just arrived,” he admitted, hopping off his car. “Keep in mind, I know absolutely no one at this wedding.”
The video then cut to Luyendyk delivering his speech at the altar. “From sitting on the couch watching ‘The Bachelor’ to now being married by that same Bachelor…you can call that fate!” he said.
In the caption, Luyendyk showed how grateful he was for the invite.
“So honored!” he wrote. “Yesterday was a blast, who wants to get married next? Congratulations Nick and Zoe, proud I was able to be a part of your big day!”

Fans of Luyendyk also couldn’t get enough. “The fact that you did this for complete strangers is absolutely amazing and shows a lot about your character!” wrote one commenter. “Such a sweet and fun full circle story!! Congratulations Nick & Zoe! 💛💛”
“Congratulations to the happy couple!” echoed another. “So nice you agreed to this! Now you have new friends!”

He’s always been a fan favorite. He and Lauren have a beautiful family. I’m sure he’s a great husband and daddy.
