A California ranch that served as a key filming location for season 21 of “The Bachelorette” is now on the market, bringing a renewed attention to a property already well known in Hollywood.
Hummingbird Nest Ranch, a 124-acre estate located in Simi Valley, about 40 miles northwest of Los Angeles, has been listed for $78 million, according to the official listing from Sotheby’s International Realty.
The stunning 57-bedroom and 40-bathroom property was featured in the premiere season of Jenn Tran’s 2024 season of “The Bachelorette,” where contestants stepped out of the limo for the first night of filming. The ranch temporarily replaced the franchise’s longtime filming location, Villa de la Vina, marking a notable shift for the series.
Tran previously told Entertainment Tonight: “I feel like a new mansion is the perfect way to break the mold.”

Seasons 1, 2, and 3 of “Claim to Fame,” starring hosts Kevin and Frankie Jonas, were also filmed at the massive ranch.
“Book Club” production designer Rachel O’Toole told Architectural Digest back in 2018:
“It was just so perfect with the archways and the way that the light dapples through the yard and the pool. Standing at the front door you can see all the way through the kitchen into a bathroom, through an arched brick passageway and then outside through leaded glass to a fountain.”

“Vanderpump Rules” stars Scheana Shay and Michael Shay tied the knot there, too, in 2014, Us Weekly reports.

The property is currently owned by Vietnamese-born billionaire Kieu Hoang, who purchased it for $33 million in 2015, according to The Wall Street Journal. In a statement cited by The Wall Street Journal, Hoang said:
“I love the property’s sense of history and character.”
He added that he is selling the ranch to focus his attention on renewable energy.
The listing is held by Byron Wood of Sotheby’s International Realty, Westlake Village Brokerage.
