Twilight Night on ‘The Masked Singer’

We have made it into week 6 of the competition, and tonight is all about love while celebrating The Twilight Saga.

For this fifth week of the competition, the show will be celebrating werewolves and teen love. The theme is Twilight Night, and it will be all about songs from the “Twilight” movie soundtracks.

Last week’s episode got off to a late start thanks to NASCAR. Despite the late start, we got through the five performances, including meeting the final Wild Card of the season (Pangolin).  The night ended with another elimination and unmasking, as it was Calla Lily revealing her true identity.

Tonight, we will see four new performances, as we learn more clues about these contestants. The fight to be named the winner of “The Masked Singer” season 14 continues tonight. Follow along with our Live Recap below!

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD: THIS LIVE RECAP WILL BE UPDATED THROUGHOUT THE EPISODE, SO DO NOT KEEP READING IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO READ SPOILERS.

Twilight Night Begins

The night starts with a tribute to James Van Der Beek, who passed away earlier today. A nice gesture.

Nick Cannon kicks things off for Twilight Night. We start the night with a performance by Christina Perri, who sings her hit song “A Thousand Years” from the “Twilight” movie soundtrack.

All night long, they will be recreating scenes from the “Twilight” series. They will also be celebrating Valentine’s Day all night long. For tonight, we are going to see four new performances. Voting will take place, and the bottom two will battle it out for eternal glory on “The Masked Singer” 2026, so let’s get it started!

Cat Witch

Again, we know who Cat Witch is because of the America’s Insider twist. However, here are her new clues for week 6! She said she was excited to see if Bella would choose Edward or Jacob. Cat Witch said she knows what it’s like to be torn between two suitors. She had her eye on an Edward, who was shiny and irresistible. Then, a Jacob appeared. We see a blue onesie. She got the proposal of a lifetime from her Jacob, but it didn’t feel right, and she walked away. A few months later, she was drinking a milkshake when Edward called her, and everything felt right. Then we see a blimp fly across the sky. Cat Witch married her Edward, and the rest is sweet history.

For her performance, she sings “It Will Rain” by Bruno Mars. She can definitely sing. Cat Witch has a good voice and always has a great stage presence.

For the special clue tonight, it will be all about celebrating Valentine’s Day. Cat Witch’s clue is a box of chocolates, which one is shaped like a turkey. Cat Witch says over 30 million people watched her on one big, very special day, and she was riding high.

Panel Feedback

Rita said she needs to stop disappearing from us, as we need you to stay on that stage with us the whole season. Jenny said she wants to double down from last time. The milkshake we saw, she has a song named “Shake.” She also won a Kids’ Choice Award (for the blimp), so she thinks it’s Victoria Justice.

Ken said Zendaya has won five Kids’ Choice Awards. Milkshake for her Disney show, “Shake It Up.” She has also performed at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Rita said this person has a lot of Kids’ Choice Awards. She’s also married to a football player, as she thinks it’s Hailee Steinfeld.

We then see a behind-the-scenes look from Kylie Cantrall, as she explains her clues from tonight.

14 Karat Carrot on ‘The Masked Singer’

For his new clues, he said Edward and Bella had an epic love story, which brings us to his. We see a basket of vegetables, which is labeled “Family.” He said he met his wife when he was 18, seeing her across campus. Their first interaction was fiery, and they did not see eye to eye. We see a number 3 water fountain and him carrying a boom box. He said he then realized the way to this woman’s heart was serenading her. We then see a picture of 14 Karat Carrot, with “Winning Image” written on the picture frame. His buttery voice won her over, and they’ve been together ever since.

For his performance, he sings “Tainted Love” by Gloria Jones. That first note he sings is rough on the ears. He’s got a higher range for his voice, but it’s not working on this song.

For his Valentine’s Day clue, they bring out a heart that has a gold star with his name on it. He said they told me to shoot for the stars, and he landed on one in Hollywood.

Panel Feedback

Robin said he thinks he might know who that legendary voice is from that performance. One of his favorite artists. Ken said last time he guessed Morgan Freeman. He was told to be more grounded, so he can get this guess right “All Night Long,” Lionel Richie. He said he’s on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and has a famous family.

Jenny said she is thinking his family has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and he’s in that family. She said he’s giving me those vibes, but she thinks it could be Jermaine Jackson. Robin said who he heard tonight, which the big 3 would make sense. He’s from a famous family and has two older brothers. He definitely has an Image Award and probably a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Robin thinks it’s Ron Isley from The Isley Brothers.

We then see a video with special messages of love from the panel’s spouses. A cute little gesture for this Valentine’s Day show.

Stingray

While we wait for the clues to start, Stingray is backstage with Nick, shaking those hips. For his new clues, he said after years of running around, the girl of his dreams came dancing into his life. He knew she was the one, so he bought the ring and practiced the proposal over and over again. As it was going to propose, a tarantula ruined the moment. He did eventually propose, and she said yes. We then see a witch’s hat and the sparkling diamond ring. We see a cat with a star leash, a coconut drink, and a note to call the exterminator. We also saw an aquarium with a basketball in it.

For his performance, he sings “Bad Habits” by Ed Sheeran. He has that sexy, sultry voice. He is always working those hips too, so it could be that, but this was a good performance and intrigues me with who this is.

For his Valentine’s Day clue, it’s an empty jewelry box. Then the ring comes from a telephone, as we hear a message from Stingray’s Valentine saying how proud she is of him and how much she loves him.

Panel Feedback

Jenny said the ladies must love him, Mr. Stingray. Jenny said with that basketball clue, she is thinking “High School Musical: The Series.” She’s wondering if this could be Jordan Fisher.

Ken said it’s Joey McIntyre, who was in “Wicked.” He is married too, so Ken is convinced. Rita said we are missing some things. There is a cat on the shelf, and a witch hat. There is a Cat Witch on “The Masked Singer.” Rita thought of that as she was talking, so her name guess doesn’t match that thought. She has to think more about what this guy has to do with Cat Witch, but her original guess was for Jason Derulo.

Owl on ‘The Masked Singer’

For his new clues on “The Masked Singer” season 14, Owl said “Twilight” was packed with chemistry, and he knows a thing or two about that. He said he was at his lowest point, getting through the mud publicly (as we see a Mile 1992 sign). He said he then got a text from a number he didn’t recognize, which said the vultures are circling, but I’m in your corner. We see a vulture wearing aviators. He said the text ended up being from someone he least expected. Owl said this girl was just as beautiful as her words, as we then see a baby doll. They went out on a date, and their chemistry was real. They’ve been together ever since, as we see a heart monitor with a heart beating on it. He said they love birdwatching together.

For his performance, Owl sings “White Wedding” by Billy Idol. He has that raspy, deep voice. Not much singing is going on, but the deep voice works for this performance. There was a lady in red dancing and playing the tambourine, which Nick wondered if she could be a clue.

For his Valentine’s Day clue, they bring out a big telephone, and we get to hear a message from Owl’s Valentine. She has an accent. Owl gets emotional. He said it’s great being with everyone, and thanks the dancers, especially the lady in red.

Panel Feedback

Ken says we have an icon in the house. Robin said the voice and a bunch of the clues, he was think a blockbuster actor. He was thinking Dennis Quaid, but is leaning towards Waltom Goggins now.

Jenny said she is thinking of someone who played a doctor. She is thinking of “Becker” and wonders if this could be Ted Danson. Ken said he has been doubling down on Matthew McConaughey, but it could be his best friend, Woody Harrelson. “White Man Can’t Jump” did come out in 1992.

Results on ‘The Masked Singer’ Season 14

The votes have been tallied, and the two singers safe tonight and moving on in the competition are Cat Witch and 14 Karat Carrot. That means Stingray and Owl will battle it out to stay in the competition.

It’s time for the Vampire Royale, as Stingray and Owl are entering a duel for the ages. Their fate will then be in the hands of the panelists. For this performance, they sing “Love Is a Battlefield” by Pat Benatar. Stingray has a good voice and is solid. Owl just doesn’t do it for me.

The panelists have voted, and Stingray has won, which means they remain in the competition, and Owl has been eliminated tonight on “The Masked Singer” season 14.

The panelists lock in their final guesses:

  • Robin says it’s Dennis Quaid
  • Jenny says it’s Ted Danson
  • Ken says it’s Ted Danson
  • Rita says it’s Kurt Russell

It’s time to see if any of the panelists are correct. The unmasking takes place, and the Owl is country music legend Billy Ray Cyrus, as everyone is shocked! No one guessed this one!

What do you think of the unmasking on “The Masked Singer” tonight?
