Jinger Duggar Bravely Opens Up About Family’s ‘Difficult’ Week: ‘We’re So Grateful For Your Prayers’

“19 Kids and Counting” alum Jinger Duggar and her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, opened up about their “difficult” week in light of recent news regarding her brother, Joseph Duggar.

“We’re so grateful for your prayers as well in that,” Vuolo said in a YouTube video shared on Wednesday, March 25. “I think that’s really where we are at this point. Just feeling helpless but knowing that the Lord hears our prayers in that. We are grateful for all of you, for your love, for your care, most importantly for your prayers.”

Jinger Duggar Opens Up About ‘Difficult’ Family Week

Jinger and Jeremy took to their “Jinger and Jeremy Podcast” on Wednesday, March 25, where they opened up about their difficult week and sent prayers to the families affected.

“We wanted to share a few things that were on our heart while also taking a bit of space this week, as it’s been a really difficult week for us to process and think through and pray through this with the podcast,” Jeremy continued. “We’re so grateful for all of you and the support you’ve shown, the prayers you’ve extended and are extending. But we really wanted to just take a moment to let you know how we’re processing this. This was devastating news to hear when we got the news last week, and it’s been a really difficult week of trying to process this, a week of us crying out to the Lord asking for mercy and grace for those affected by this.”

Jinger, the daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, added, “It has been such a long week. It’s been one of those weeks that feels like years and I did not think that my heart could break like it has this week.”

She continued, “The pain and heartbreak that we’ve had over this, and just thinking of how it’s affected so many. Yeah. That’s just unthinkable. It’s so hard and painful on many levels.”

Jinger and Jeremy Receive Support From Fans

“I hope her and her sisters are able to take time away from social media and heal. People need to stop expecting a statement and think about what they’re going through,” one follower commented on YouTube.

Another wrote, “I love how Jeremy carried Jinger emotionaly in them addressing these news , you can tell jinger is really going through it.”

“I can tell the toll this is taking on you, Jeremy…you keep taking really good care of her, she needs it,” a third added.
