Former TLC reality star and Duggar daughter, Jessa Duggar Seewald, recently took to social media to provide a heartwarming update on her growing family. Jessa starred on TLC’s “19 Kids and Counting” from 2008 to 2015. The Duggar daughter was also featured on the spin-off series, “Counting On,” from 2015 to 2020.
The 33-year-old is the fifth child in birth order of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s 19 children. Jessa has four older siblings: Josh, Jana, John-David, and Jill. The former reality star also has fourteen younger siblings: Jinger, Joseph, Josiah, Joy-Anna, Jedidah, Jeremiah, Jason, James, Justin, Jackson, Johannah, Jennifer, Jordyn, and Josie.

Jessa Duggar Shares Heartwarming Family Update on Instagram
While she’s no longer appearing on reality TV, Jessa Duggar Seewald is still in the public eye. Like many of her Duggar siblings, she remains active on social media, sharing updates about her growing family and daily life.
In a recent Instagram post, Jessa shared a heartwarming carousel of photos, captioned, “A few snapshots of life lately.” The photos feature her children, each with a special caption. The first photo features her two daughters chatting at the kitchen island with the caption, “Beautiful ordinary days.”
Jessa’s oldest son, Spurgeon Seewald, is also featured in the post with the caption, “A dad/son dinner date with the Jedi.” Based on her latest update, it appears that Jessa and her growing family are doing quite well, enjoying the beauty in the mundane.
Jessa Duggar Is a Mom of Six
While Jessa hasn’t come close to matching her mother’s 19 children, she has built a sizable family of her own. Jessa and her husband, Ben Seewald, share four sons and two daughters.
The couple welcomed their first child, Spurgeon Elliot Seewald, in November 2015. Jessa was 23 years old, and Ben was 20 at the time of Spurgeon’s birth.
The couple’s second child, Henry Wilberforce Seewald, joined the family in February 2017. With their third child, the couple welcomed their first daughter, Ivy Jane Seewald, in May 2019. Their second daughter, Fern Elliana Seewald, evened the score with her entrance into the world in July 2021.
However, the tie-breaker, George Augustine Seewald, made his grand entrance in December 2023. The Seewald daughters became even more outnumbered when their youngest brother, Edward Owen, joined the family in July 2025.

Ben and Jessa have been married for over a decade, celebrating their most recent wedding anniversary in November 2025. The couple’s budding courtship and wedding day were captured by TLC cameras. The duo began courting in September 2013 and were engaged the following August.
While Ben doesn’t come from a family as large as Jessa’s, he’s still no stranger to a full household. Jessa’s husband is the oldest of Michael and Guinn Seewald’s seven children. Ben has four sisters: Jessica, Danielle, Michelle, and Faith, and two younger brothers: Ethan and Thomas.
Today, Jessa and Ben are raising six children of their own, Spurgeon, Henry, Ivy, Fern, George, and Edward, bringing them close to the size of Ben’s own family. While the couple may soon surpass Ben’s own family size, for now, they seem to simply be enjoying life with their growing family and sharing those moments with fans.
