TLC’s “Welcome to Plathville” has returned for Season 8, and a new Instagram video has fans buzzing over how Lydia Plath will be portrayed this season.
The reality star married Zac Wyse in February 2025 and is still in newlywed bliss. Fans were shocked when they learned how her new husband really sees her.

In a clip shared to TLC’s Instagram page, the “Welcome to Plathville” stars are seen in their shared kitchen. They discuss their relationship and update fans on their marriage.
The clip begins with Lydia asking Zac, “Be honest. What is life like living with me as your wife?”
He responds, “Amazing, of course. But after 10 p.m. you are on a different level.”
A producer asked off-camera, “Is the honeymoon phase over yet?” Zac responded, “Nope.”
Lydia explained, “Zac sees a side of me that no one knows and no one will ever know about. That’s that.”
“I think not only have I introduced her, but also watered the seed of curiosity. It’s fun to see her and me interact in those ways,” he added.
The producer interjected, “Lydia, Zac just said you’re naughty.” In response, she giggled and he said, “It’s true.”

On TLC’s Instagram, fans chimed in about Lydia Plath stepping into married life. The way her husband sees her left plenty of viewers surprised and intrigued.

This season on “Welcome to Plathville,” a new teaser trailer reveals that things aren’t so blissful between Zac, Lydia, and her extended family members. In one clip, Lydia reaches her breaking point during a family gathering, putting her foot down over the ongoing drama and whispers about her marriage to Zac. She makes it clear she refuses to let the negativity continue.
