The event marked a rare red carpet appearance for Indiana, who wore a black suit with white lace trim and a white button-down shirt. He brushed his hair back to create an Old Hollywood finish. His uncle Ben wore a black suit and white button-down top, and Casey wore all-black: a black suit with a black button-down shirt and black tie. They all looked great!

The gothic thriller “Company” is directed by Casey and stars his sons, Indiana and Atticus, Nick Nolte, Ben Mendelsohn, Scoot McNairy, Adelaide Clemens, Caylee Cowan, and Emily Alyn Lind. Ben does not appear in the film, but he produced it and attended the film festival to support his brother and nephew.

Casey is a father to two children, his eldest, Indiana, and younger son, Atticus, both of whom he shares with his ex-wife, Summer Phoenix. This film was special for the Afflecks, and both of Casey’s sons have roles in it. “I think they grew up around it and had some interest in it and a sort of innate understanding of what it was,” Casey said his sons during a press conference at the film festival, People reports. “Like I did, my dad worked in the theater for many years. And so it’s passed down, I suppose, which is a really nice thing. And they were willing to be a part of this.”

Casey also revealed how his sons got involved in the project. “I was sitting around the house doing read-throughs of this script over and over, and I would have my two kids read the younger and older teens, and they were fantastic,” he said. “I got to the point where I was there in pre-production, and I had a cast and film, and they were willing to show up and do it.”

Atticus was home from spring break, and that was all the time Casey needed to include him. Indiana put in a lot more time on set, which made his father proud. “He showed up, and he played this part and stayed every single day and worked in the other departments and shoveled snow and carried light stands around and never complained, or rarely complained,” Casey said.

Of the time spent with his sons on set, Casey said it was “the best professional experience of my life by far.”
