Heidi Klum is embracing the way her mind works. The longtime “America’s Got Talent” judge recently opened up about having a form of ADHD, explaining that the constant energy and multitasking that come with it have never held her back. In fact, the supermodel and “Project Runway” host says the condition has helped fuel her busy career, and she now considers it one of her biggest strengths.
Heidi Klum Has a ‘Form of ADHD’
The 52-year-old supermodel recently did an interview with Glamour Germany and talked about how she has a “form of ADHD.”
According to Mayo Clinic, ADHD is a neurodevelopmental condition characterized by persistent patterns of inattention, hyperactivity, and impulsivity that interfere with daily functioning.
Klum told Glamour that she has not let it hold her back, but she is embracing it. Klum said, “It’s my superpower.”
The supermodel added, “I’m very hyperactive because of my ADHD. I can do a thousand different things at once. I work on many projects simultaneously and keep loading on even more.”
OG Glamour Cover Star
Glamour Germany is celebrating its 25th anniversary. Part of that celebration is having the “OG Glamour cover star” back on the cover of the magazine.
To celebrate, Klum wore a sheer white lace dress with a push-up bra design. In addition, she wore her blonde hair straight with pink-toned makeup and pale pink nails.
In the social media post, Glamour Germany said, “She’s the OG GLAMOUR cover star – 25 years later, she’s coming back for our anniversary: Heidi Klum. Heidi has been an advocate for Female Empowerment for over three decades.”
Yes, Klum was the very first cover star of Glamour Germany, and now she’s back 25 years later to grace the cover again.
Klum Previously Discussed the ADHD Diagnosis
This isn’t the first time Klum has discussed the ADHD diagnosis. Back in 2022, she shared the news about her condition while filming the show “Password.”
At the time, she told NBC News, “My little dance helps me because I have ADD/ADHD. I have to do a lot of things to keep me focused in a way.”
She’s still keeping herself busy, as she is currently filming season 22 of “Project Runway.” In addition, she spent 11 seasons as a judge on “America’s Got Talent” and will be appearing on season 21 of “Germany’s Next Top Model.”
ADHD runs in the family, too, as her son, 20-year-old Henry Samuel, has talked in the past about how he was severely affected by ADHD as a child.
