Vergara Shares a Cozy Cast Reunion
The long-time “America’s Got Talent” judge kept the message short and affectionate, captioning the post, “Reunited!❤️❤️”.
For fans, the image carried extra meaning. Bowen and Ferguson famously played TV siblings Claire Dunphy and Mitchell Dunphy, a dynamic that became central to the show’s heart.
Even years after the series ended, the pair continues to share moments together, signaling that their on-screen family connection remains strong off-screen as well.
Fans Call ‘Modern Family’ One of TV’s Greatest Families
GettyFans flooded the comments with emotional reactions, calling the cast “one of the best TV families ever” and sharing how deeply the reunion photos resonated with them.
Many said their “hearts felt so full” seeing the stars together again, while others wrote that the images “made me so happy” and praised how close the cast still appears years after the show ended.
Several fans admitted they still love and miss “Modern Family,” with more than a few urging the cast to take things one step further, writing that it feels like “we just need a full reunion at this point.”
Julie Bowen Celebrates Time With Jesse and Justin
In a separate social media update, Bowen shared her own reunion photos with Ferguson and his husband, Mikita.
Alongside the images, she wrote, “Yay!!! Any day is a good day when I get to see my brother (and brother-in-law? It’s getting confusing…) Happy Birthday, @jeffgreenbergcd.” Fans were quick to respond, praising the trio’s chemistry and noting Ferguson’s refreshed look.
Bowen and Ferguson wrapped their 11-season run on the series in April 2020, but their easy rapport appears unchanged.
The duo spent more than a decade portraying the Dunphy siblings, and that familiarity still shines through in recent appearances.
Remembering ‘Modern Family’ and Its Lasting Legacy
Jesse Tyler Ferguson appeared in all 11 seasons of Modern Family as Mitchell Pritchett, starring opposite Eric Stonestreet as his on-screen husband, Cameron Tucker.
The ABC comedy ran from 2009 to 2020 and also featured Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Sarah Hyland, Nolan Gould, Ed O’Neill, Ariel Winter, Rico Rodriguez, and Aubrey Anderson-Emmons.
Ferguson and Stonestreet recently reflected on their time on the show during an episode of Ferguson’s podcast, revisiting one of their most memorable behind-the-scenes moments involving casting director Jeff Greenberg.
“Craft service. Jeff Greenberg walking into the glass that day. It’s the greatest moment ever,” Stonestreet said, as reported by People.
He added, “We taped off his face mark, remember? His face mark lived that whole season.” Laughing, Ferguson replied, “I can’t believe that happened. He just walked right towards us.”
Even years after the final episode aired, the cast’s reunions and shared stories continue to highlight the lasting connection behind “Modern Family,” a bond that remains as strong off-screen as it was on it.
