Sofia Vergara knows how to slay a fashionable outfit. She’s also well aware of what it takes to style a piece that’s both sheer lace and lingerie-like. That’s just what she did when she shared photos of herself enjoying gorgeous weather in Florida.

In the first photo, Vergara can be seen wearing a chic black lace top while smiling at the camera and holding a coconut. In the second pic, she’s seen with two other lovely ladies — her mother, Margarita, and sister, Sandra (who you might recognize from “Selling Sunset”).
Vergara also shared another post that featured the trio spending time together. In the caption, she wrote, “Sin cafecito cubano no hay Miami!!❤️❤️❤️ [Without Cuban coffee, there’s no Miami!!❤️❤️❤️]”

The ‘Lingerie-as-Clothes Trend’ is Now Mainstream
“So long as there’s been satin, lace, and the sensual impulse to show a little skin, lingerie will always be in demand…,” according to Elle. “However, incorporating all things sheer, skimpy, and a little seductive has been a recurring theme on the catwalk for a while now as well. And the trend shows no signs of slowing down.”
Beyond that, Style Rave notes that “[t]he rise of the lingerie-as-clothes trend has moved from runway experimentation to everyday styling, creating a wave of outfits that blend softness with confidence. Momentum has been building for months, especially after fashion week shows sent models down the runway in lace, satin, and slip silhouettes that looked ready for the streets. … The trend has reached a point where styling feels accessible, expressive, and completely wearable.”
Style Rave continues by explaining that “[a]lthough the runway sparked early excitement, social platforms propelled the lingerie-as-clothes trend into the mainstream. As creators layered lace pieces and slip dresses over tees and long sleeves, the looks felt refreshing, modern, and achievable.”
