The Top 11 on “American Idol” season 24 performed last night on ABC. It was Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night, which brought out some amazing performances. However, the night came to an end with Ryan Seacrest delivering the dreaded results, and two more contestants were sent home. Now we are left with the Top 9 on “American Idol” season 24. We are taking a look at these hopefuls and doing some power rankings for the Top 9 singers on “American Idol” season 24.
1. Brooks Rosser
He definitely seemed more at ease with his performance last night. It was a good song choice, and he seemed to connect to those lyrics more. Brooks is so unique, I just feel like it’s his to lose this season.
2. Keyla Richardson
For me, Keyla is Fantasia 2.0. Every time she takes the stage, I just hear so much of Fantasia Barrino’s voice inside of her. Keyla is good, and this performance was just wow!
3. Jordan McCullough on ‘American Idol’
Can Jordan win “American Idol” 2026? I am not sure, but every week he just keeps getting better and better. He takes us to church every week, and his vocals are just chef’s kiss!
4. Hannah Harper
Hannah seems to be one of the favorites to win this season. I get it, as she has a great country voice. For me, I don’t get the appeal. She doesn’t have that wow factor when performing, so I want to see her open up more and have more fun on the stage.
5. Braden Rumfelt
Braden has been one of my favorites every week. I think he has the appeal to get people to vote for him. I wasn’t a huge fan of this song choice, though.
6. Daniel Stallworth on ‘American Idol’ 2026
Each week, I think Daniel will be eliminated, and each week he remains in the competition. He is getting more and more comfortable on that stage, and this performance was fun to watch.
7. Chris Tungseth
Chris topped one of my Power Rankings lists early in the season. He has been losing me the last few weeks, especially with this one last night. I think it was a bad song choice, and I wasn’t a fan.
8. Kyndal Inskeep
Kyndal was another one who started this season so strongly for me. I love her voice, but something seemed to happen with her. She lost all confidence and seems to be overthinking everything each week. She needs to relax and have fun with it all before she’s eliminated too soon.
9. Lucas Leon
I think it’s the teenager aspect, and viewers think he’s cute. I thought Lucas would be eliminated already, but here he is. It wasn’t a strong performance for him.
Who do you think are the best singers for the Top 9 on “American Idol” season 24?
My favorite performance of the evening was Jordan’s Someone to Love. I was hoping for more songs like that and was glad that the evening ended with a favorite of mine.
