We have made it to the Top 4 on “The Voice” season 29. Tonight will be Night 2 of the Voice Finale on NBC. The night will end with the winner of “The Voice” season 29 being named. Liv Ciara is one of those artists in the Top 4, as she is happy to be representing Team Kelly in the finale. The 16-year-old singer from Missouri is hoping to give her coach, Kelly Clarkson, her fifth win as a coach.
Here are five fast facts you need to know about Liv, who is hoping to be named the winner of “The Voice” season 29 tonight.
1. Hometown in Missouri
Liv is 16 years old and a high school student. She attends St. Dominic High School, a Catholic school in Missouri.
She is pursuing a music career, hence why she tried out for “The Voice.” Liv has already released original music, with her EP “Out Lous” being released in February.
2. Performed in Band With Her Father
Ciara told Fox 2 Now that her passion for music came from her father, Justin Stewart. Her dad is the lead vocalist and keyboardist for the band Groovethang.
Liv actually joined her dad’s band when she was 13 years old. She considers her father to be her role model and biggest inspiration.
3. More Than Just Singing
Like Lucas West, Liv is more than just a singer. She also plays the piano and guitar.
She told Fox 2 Now, “I honestly couldn’t see myself doing anything else. Music is so special, and I want to write songs and perform so other people can experience that connection.”
4. Liv Auditioned for Season 28
It has been mentioned before, but Liv auditioned for season 28 of “The Voice.” During her audition, she sang “Espresso” by Sabrina Carpenter.
At the time, none of the coaches hit their buttons for her. The big reason why: song choice.
Niall Horan said, “It was all down to the song choice. You gotta give yourself a little bit more room to do your thing because it’s clear and obvious how good of a singer you are.”
Reba McEntire added, “Hopefully come back again, try it again, maybe with a different type of song.”
5. The Comeback Queen
Come back is what Liv did. It’s kind of her story, as she has become the comeback queen for season 29.
After not getting a chair to turn for her during season 28, she got Adam and Kelly to turn for her during her Blind Audition on “The Voice” season 29. Liv chose to join Team Kelly.
Then, during the Battle Rounds, Liv lost to Mikenley Brown. However, Kelly used her Super Steal to keep Ciara on her team. She used that save to make it all the way to the Voice Finale.
