Luke Bryan & Carrie Underwood Beg Fans for Help Ahead of ‘American Idol’ Finale

The “American Idol” season 24 finale is upon us, with the Top 3 finalists, Hannah Harper, Keyla Richardson, and Jordan McCullough, set to take the stage one last time for monumental performances before one is crowned the winner.

The finale, airing on Monday, May 11, will be a three-hour event, featuring Mötley Crüe, Brad Paisley, Clay Aiken, Gin Blossoms, Jason Marz, Lee Ann Womack, and more, with the Idol judges also set to take the stage.

But before the fun begins, judges Luke Bryan and Carrie Underwood are turning to fans for a little help ahead of the season 24 finale, hoping to make the live show even more memorable.


Lule Bryan & Carrie Underwood Ask Fans for The Perfect Catchphrase Ahead of the ‘American Idol’ Finale

Just two days before the “American Idol” season 24 finale, judges Luke Bryan and Carrie Underwood begged fans for help. In a clip on Instagram, the judges asked Idol viewers to come up with some perfect catchphrase ideas for the two country stars before the big night.

“Carrie and I don’t have a catchphrase,” Bryan begins. “We need a catchphrase,” Underwood shares. “We don’t have any, I’ve tried,” he said, with Underwood adding, “Help us.”

“We’ve been stealing other people’s. ‘Welcome to the dog pound,” the songstress joked. “Yeah, mine is like ‘stank face.’ We need recommendations.”

Fans were happy to help the two judges and quickly filled the comment section with ideas.

“SHOW US YOUR BEST! This is it!” A fan wrote. “One performance can change everything,” another shared.

“You walked in a contestant and walked out an artist,” a comment read.

Another follower jokingly shared, “Shake it for me for Luke. Let Jesus Take the wheel for Carrie,” while a perfect one for Bryan read, “Reel ’em in, tee ’em up, belt it out.”


The ‘American Idol’ Judges Will Take the Stage for Epic Performances

The “American Idol” finale will be a showstopping three-hour event featuring performances by several celebrated artists, including the three judges themselves.

According to People, Underwood, Bryan, and Lionel Richie will perform “Deep River Woman,” by Richie.

Bryan will perform his new single, “Fish Hunt Golf Drink,” and sing Dwight Yoakam’s “A Thousand Miles from Nowhere” alongside finalist Julián Kalel.

Underwood will also return to the stage and is sure to deliver an electrifying performance when she joins rock band Mötley Crüe.

The full list of artists to perform includes Brad Paisley, Blues Traveler, En Vogue, Gin Blossoms, Jason Mraz, Lee Ann Womack, Nelly, and Shinedown. Additionally, “American Idol” alums Cameron Whitcomb, Clay Aiken, and Tori Kelly will also take the stage.

The Top 3 finalists got the surprise of a lifetime when they learned that they would duet with one of these A-list acts. A video on Instagram showed Hannah Harper getting teary-eyed when she learned she would be performing with her idol, Lee Ann Womack.

“This doesn’t feel real. What an absolute honor,” she shared on Instagram.

Keyla Richardson called it a “full circle moment” when she found out she would be sharing the stage with Jason Mraz after a brilliant and memorable performance of his song, “I Won’t Give Up.”

Finally, Jordan McCullough shared on Instagram that he was “unwell” after learning that he would be singing with Tori Kelly and season 24 finalist Daniel Stallworth.

The “American Idol” season 24 finale airs on Monday, May 11, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
