Every week is a special week on “American Idol” season 24, especially when Brooks takes the stage. There is something special about him and his unique voice. Now, he’s taking on Disney Night on ABC tonight. The Top 9 on “American Idol” 2026 were taking on some of your favorite Disney songs from some of your favorite Disney movies. I was excited to see what Brooks was going to do for this epic night. Check out the Brooks performance video from tonight below in our “American Idol” spoilers.
Last Week on ‘American Idol’ Season 24
For this performance last week on “American Idol” season 24, Brooks sang “These Days” by Jackson Browne. He said he could relate to the song, which may have been why he seemed more comfortable with the performance. His voice is so unique. It started a little rough for me, but he worked it out, and it was very good.
For the judges, Lionel said God has given him his blessing: his voice. Carrie said she didn’t want the song to end. He seemed so in the moment and so comfortable, which was very different from the week before. Luke said he was into the moment, and he creates moments.
Disney Night on Idol
His sister flew in to go to Disneyland with him. She does musical theater, so it’s odd that she does that, and he just started singing. He said he can relate to this song. Jennifer said he sat there with his swag. He is brave for doing this and not having any experience.
For his performance, he sings “The Climb” from “Hannah Montana: The Movie.” This was a great song choice for Brooks. Those slower, low parts were perfection for his voice. He put some twists on the original, which was nice to hear. I just loved it.
For the judges, Jennifer said he has a special sound that doesn’t come out every day. He deserves to be here, and he is brave. Luke said keep digging, but keep figuring this out as he goes. Lionel said his magic is in his voice. Keep doing that, and he is going places. Carrie said she is proud of him. He keeps getting more comfortable, and she is excited to see where he goes.
Rae then comes out, and the rumors are true. They are dating!
