We had Disney Night on “American Idol” season 24 tonight on ABC. The Top 9 on “American Idol” 2026 were taking on some of your favorite Disney songs from some of your favorite Disney movies. Jordan McCullough has been one of the standouts this season, and I was beyond excited to see what he was going to pull out for this Disney Night performance on “American Idol” 2026. Last Week on ‘American Idol’ Season 24
For this performance last week on “American Idol” season 24, he sang “Somebody to Love” by Queen. This guy can sing. He did, yet again, take us to church tonight on “American Idol” season 24. His range is amazing. That last note was something else. This was so entertaining and, by far, the best of the night!
For the judges, Carrie said that it was so much fun. He just proved that anyone can rock. Luke said everything about that is what “American Idol” is all about. Lionel said that was clearly a drop-the-mic moment. It was amazing.
Disney Night on Idol
He went to Disneyland with his mom, who he said is his best friend. Jordan said it was the best day, going from Disney with his best friend to Jennifer Hudson. She is flinging shoes at him during rehearsals. She is just mesmerized by him and wants more shoes.
For his performance, he sings “Colors of the Wind” from “Pocahontas.” Of all the singers tonight, Jordan was the one I was most excited for. He did not let me down. This was a great song choice. He has such a great range, and he hits some huge notes. This guy can sign, and I am ready to throw some shoes at him! Jordan just showed us all how to sing. It was such a perfect performance and one that should put him as a frontrunner this season. I mean, this guy can sing, so give him the crown!
For the judges, we have more shoes being thrown by Jennifer. The crowd can’t stop cheering. Luke said he doesn’t have anything to say, listen to them. Lionel said shut your mouth! Carrie said that was perfect. Jennifer said she ain’t got nothing to say, she threw both her shoes at him.
