⚠️ WARNING: This post may contain spoilers for “Big Brother” Season 28.
We’re about to hit the halfway point of “Big Brother” Season 28. And yep, there have already been a LOT of alliances formed. Some have become major forces in the house, while others have fallen apart almost as quickly as they came together.
But who can honestly remember all of them as the episodes and chaos continue to play out on-screen? That’s where we come in, with a list of every alliance that has formed during Season 28 (so far) going into Week 6.
Let’s be real, keeping track of who is working with whom can get complicated. Especially when houseguests are involved in multiple alliances at once.
Currently Active Alliances in ‘Big Brother’ Season 28
The Crossovers saw “Survivor” alums Dee and Devens team up with fellow reality TV icon, Angela as well as Barrett and Drew to make one of the original power groups in the house. They were eventually incorporated into the Toolshed (see below). Even after Toolshed fell apart, the five-person group remained an important relationship network. Drew and Barrett have developed other connections, though, so it seems like the alliance could face some challenges going into Week 6.
Jugglers is the Drew and Barrett duo formed in Episode 6 that has remained useful throughout the game. The two continue to share information and protect each other. Plus their involvement in the newer, F.A.P., gives the pair another layer of protection.
Episode 11’s Wolf Pack connects Kamu and Yash with Dee and Devens, giving the group relationships on both sides of the house. However, Yash’s Week 6 HOH has put some pressure on that relationship as he considers a new power structure.
F.A.P., also known as For American People, formed in Episode 18, brings together players with connections to different sides of the house. Drew and Barrett have their Crossovers ties, while Melody and Mallory provide another connection. Honestly, this could become an important swing group as the game continues.
BB 28’s Crumbling Alliances
Inbetweeners with Barrett, Drew, and Melody was designed as a middle-position alliance in Episode 6. But it never became a major force. The members have increasingly prioritized their other relationships, particularly F.A.P. and the Crossovers-related structure.
Created in Episode 6, Dapper Dans, connected several important players (i.e. Devens, Barrett, Drew, and Yash). Trust issues and competing loyalties kept the group from becoming a solid alliance. Yash’s Week 6 HOH has only created more distance between the members.
Inactive Alliances in ‘Big Brother’ Season 28
Kamu, Haley, and Chuk’s Red Corner alliance from Episode 3 was eventually absorbed into the Toolshed. But Kamu began distancing himself from Haley and Chuk. Then, Kamu’s Veto win and Chuk’s Week 5 eviction effectively ended the alliance.
Court Jesters with Drew, Jason, and Melody formed in Episode 3. It never became a major power structure, largely because Drew was working with multiple sides of the house. Jason’s eviction brought the alliance to an end.
Café Con Leche with Dee and Jason in Episode 3 was more of a relationship and deal than a serious voting group. Jason’s eviction ended the alliance.
LaTrice, Rome, and Jason’s trio, Mama’s Angels, from Episode 3 never developed into a major alliance. With Rome and Jason gone, LaTrice is the only remaining member.
The Love Triangle trio (Rome, Lyric, and Jason) created in Episode 3 was closely connected but ended up on the wrong side of the shifting power. With all three members evicted, this one is officially done.
Lyric and Melody formed this duo, Harmony Hotties, after distancing themselves from Mallory. Lyric’s eviction broke up the alliance.
More Inactive Alliances From BB 28
The Toolshed was the massive majority alliance created by merging the Crossovers and Red Corner in Episode 6. It initially had significant control, but internal distrust and competing loyalties eventually caused it to collapse.
Four Seasons with Rome, Lyric, Melody, and Drew formed in Episode 6. This alliance struggled because Drew was also connected to the Crossovers and Toolshed. The evictions of Rome and Lyric ultimately ended the group.
Honor Society was an early women’s alliance with Angela, Dee, LaTrice, and Mallory made during Episode 7, but stronger relationships outside the group kept it from becoming a major strategic force. It eventually faded from the game.
Handymen was an early Drew and Kamu partnership set up during Episode 7. Kamu’s increasing independence and changing relationships eventually made the alliance irrelevant.
Giggle Girls was created as a three-woman alliance with Mallory, Melody, and Lyric in Episode 10 outside the larger groups. Lyric’s eviction left Mallory and Melody, but the original alliance is effectively over.
How Many Alliances is Too Many? ‘The Limit Does Not Exist’
Yep, that’s a LOT of alliances for one “Big Brother” season, and we’re only approaching the halfway point. And if you got that “Mean Girls” reference, go you!
Let’s be real, all of these groups could look completely different after another HOH, Power of Veto, or eviction. That’s how the game is played. And one win can change everything.
